This is most certainly the real, original James Bond theme. In the intro to Dr. No, Three Blind mice and else was edited in to open the movie (which opens with three blind guys crossing the street). In nearly all other Bond films, elements of John Barry's theme were incorporated into the title songs, or the original theme was repeated, sometimes during the closing credits. Anyone want to tell me Three Blind mice was ever used in a Bond film again?
This is the James Bond theme. Are you sure it was the music played during the opening credits (and therefore the theme song)? I thought it might be Three Blind Mice, or Jamaica Jump Up. Whatever, it has been -- and always shall be (Boy, I am sounding like Spock near the end of Star Trek II) -- one of my alltime favorite pieces of music. LOVE IT!!!!
@nucleokinesis dude, look how long ago I made this vid, look at the views, I'm not going to re-post it just because of a stupid intro, get used to it everyone else does
Like everyone else who might ever want to see a big-ticket music video from 40 years ago that there's probably dozens of identical copies without that intro on YouTube alone?
You're really on a high horse about posting something in the eminent domain on YouTube? Get a grip. All you did was make it more obnoxious.
I'll just rate your video down and go watch/listen to someone else's on this very site. Loser.
@nucleokinesis man, what is it with people and getting so lairy because of a 4 second tune. Jesus christ. As much as I would love to turn back time, I can't, so stop bitching and enjoy the goddam video. If you don't like then dont watch
@plykshow "I would love to turn back time, I can't"
You could just edit out what YOU ADDED, or just poach it from whatever original source you copied it from again.
Editing out four seconds of playtime is hard? I bet you're one of those amateurs drooling at his dabbling with preset CGI on Windows Movie Maker and thinks he's pro splicing a few frames in.
"what is it with people and because of a 4 second tune"
@nucleokinesis - oh, you are so right! I found a REALLY sharp version where the uploader spent 2 weeks reworking opening titles without ruining the sound.
No WORDS, No SONG! Go look it up. A "song" has words. That's why since before you were born, this musical composition was referred to by it's actual name: "THE JAMES BOND THEME." Period. The simple ending synthetic rhythm that you inserted dates you as younger than this reworked piece of Hindu Music Monty Norman presented to John Barry, who in 1962 arranged and orchestrated it into the world's MOST RECOGNIZED musical theme. NO SONG!
They count it as the first 007 movie because it's the first of the EON films. The EON are well known. There were some made by another company, the first being Casino Royale. It took EON about 36 years to make Casion Royale.
Nice, you should upload the audio of this to SoundLantern, you can upload all your music and audios to SoundLantern, i have the link on my channel check it out sometime
Thanks. The other 007 videos were when I made crappy vids. Stay tuned because next week is 007 week on Plykshow. Thats where I upload nothing but 007 vids. Hope you enjoy it.
Kingston Calypso - 2:40
Dr. No's Theme - 1:48
Dr. No's Theme Song is just a slightly different version of that song.

I always considered the "theme-song" of Dr.No to be Three Blind Mice, or Kingston Calypso as it is really called.
This is the James Bond theme which followed James Bond in all his movies.

@chkjns It's his intro that ruins it, and to not ruin it in this way, would be an omission, not extra work
I hear uploading ripped music is hard
