well you could try moving until you get it to work... i use to do that but i got sick and just bought a new one... how does the usk cord get busted anyway?

step 1:open device manager

step 2: uninstall your psp device

step 3: connect your psp

hope that works cause mine worked

My psp is saying please wait every time I connect it but if I were to go to a friends house and connect it, it would work perfectly fine My pc would sometimes read it but none of my files would be there and yes I have updated and formated I have a feeling its something to do with the pc I'm currently using At one piont in time it was able to read my psp folder but now it wont do that any more please help if any one knows whats the deal

please reply when i connect my psp to computer it says usb device not recognized i click on it and it shows some list of ports i click on unkown device and it says no drivers installed please if there is any driver i can download please reply i will subscribe and put in favorites if you do

my psp running 3.71 m33-2 all is normal except this one the xmb usb device is on memory stick but nothing happen the usb cable shown is new my mother bought it for me but it still dosent work

Try these things if its not the Usb cable

-Turn off usb charge.

-Turn ON usb charge (i have to do this with my psp for some reason)

-if you have cfw start up the psp holding R trigger and make sure that under configuration the xmb usb device is your memory card.

-Lastly if none of these things work see if you can maybe put your memory card into a sony camera or a card reader and see if your memory card is ok. it should be ok if your loading and using stuff from your memory card on the psp

@zwienyde hi there can u please help me my problem is went ever i put any file un my memory stick and then i open it in my psp it say the file is corrupted....what will i do?i buy new memory stick i can connect now to my pc but when i copy a file then open it in my psp it is corrupted............help please.............

@redken13 well... either the files are corrupted (clearly) or your psp can't run those files. If you're trying to run homebrew apps or ISO/CSO games then you're going to have to have a hacked psp. (if you can't tell if ur psp is hacked or not, its probs not)

@zwienyde how can i tell if its hack or not?my CFW is 5.00 i want to upgrade it to 5.00 m33 but when i start it said the file is corrupted?please help and i thank for sharing ung knowlegde to me...........^_^

@redken13 if it doesn't say m33, gen or anything else next to the 5.00 then you're clearly not hacked therefore you can't run those files that come up corrupted.

if you connect your psp at computer and you see the driver and he is empty : open your psp and press select buttont at usb device select with the left or right button memory stick !
