  • Carnivore and pray getting along. I we only thought like that. Only kill it if you plan to eat it. Or leave it alone. This dog was fed at the time and to small to do it on it's own. He needs a pack.

  • 1:45-2:05 :)

  • Yup 1:58, went awwww

  • thats cool!!!! im a hunter and archery starts in 3 days but that is so cool id sit and drink a beer and watch my dog and elk play all day

  • I love the video. Thanks for posting it.

  • Cute... BUT you should kep your dog inside. An elk of that size would destroy the dog if it felt threatenent.

  • @SanguinetheWOlf Why don't you also tell them to drink water, don't stab yourself in the eye, and not jump off a cliff. I love when people on Youtube tell other people stupid crap like this. Make a comment and move on mom.

  • @Mpowell144 "Make a comment and mvoe on mom" What are you, 12 years old? Its okay to nto like people post but you're sitting in your basement I suppose by the way you obviously post. Its not stupid crab. go look it up. Idiot.

If you think for one second that a wild elk is just gonna let you stand near it, then your gonna get stomped on.

Same goes for dogs. Do some research and get out of your basement.

  • @SanguinetheWOlf Sorry man - I don't argue with people who can't copy and paste or spell check. My basement is loaded with dictionaries, books on grammar and sentence structure. Slow down, spell check, and if you can avoid being destroyed by wild elk, come back and at least quote me right. I wrote 'move on mom', and you quoted me as 'mvoe on mom.' Now eveyrone thnks I can't spel riht.

  • @TheMpowell144 hahahahahahahahahaha. VERY well said.

  • @SanguinetheWOlf ok rain man, did you ask mom and dad if you could play on the computer? No.........bad rain man, bad bad bad! Don't talk shit if you can't spell. It reelee maks u luk badd. Crabs and elk don't look the same? Shit.....ive had it wrong for years. People like you better when you don't talk.

  • @slim7231 Typical. Just Typical. Call me a boy yet you talk like one.

  • I wanna shoot that Elk and invite my friends over for Barbeque with Beer !!! Yeeeeeeeea

  • Mmmmm...... Meat for a year :-).

  • What a great dog!! Thanks for the video.

  • i live in Loveland :) and this is why I LOVE it. (even though elk in our town is a rare occurrence)

  • parappa and lammy

  • Simply... Adorable

  • thanks for the huge smiles this video brings! p.s. Jenny is the CUTEST ever!!!

  • cute!!

  • the most interesting wildlife i ever spotted in my garden (UK) is a muntjac deer... elk kinda trumps a little deer, am i right? ha ha

  • 2:02 is awesome!!!

  • good guard dog haha

  • I would eat that elk.

  • I would eat that elk.

  • That elk must have never seen a wolf.

  • You have a wild elk in ur back garden :D I just can't get over it, that's so funny and cool - where I live the most interesting thing we get is the neighbour's cat and a cheeky squirrel

  • That is sooo cool! but if it were me my .308 would have been on its bipod and preaimed if he were to make a move on my dog......just saying...

    But GREAT video!

  • @TheEmarbe I actually hate people like you.

  • @Brennna I would not grace you with my security as you are an apparent fool.

  • @TheEmarbe You are the fool for wanting to kill such a manificent creature.

  • @Brennna you do realise by making assumptions than by taking belief in such assumptions and then using an insulting remark based on that assumption makes you look like a complete idiot right?

I never would want to kill it and I never gave any reason to say otherwise, I simply said how cool that would be to see, BUT if it were my dog and beloved companion I would not trust that coyote killing elk for a second without some type of insurance...Because im aware of nature, unlike you.

  • that guy got one crazy ass hat

  • BOOM!.....awww MAN what did you do that for?.......What?

  • Made my day!

  • wow. that is so cool. that is really rare to catch on camera. plus elk are normaly skitish.

  • Nice Story. Sounds like good memories.

  • nice vid very rare for this kind of thing to happen. Although bull elk are practically fearless. i grew up w/ Mt st Helens in my back yard and we had a herd that would loiter around our property, one time we had a bull w/ a huge rack staring right in our dining room window. my mom freaked out and moved the table and everything away from the window waiting for its antlers to turn just right and shatter it. thankfully he didn't.

  • Awesome!

  • What a massive animal.

  • Tell me everybody did not go aww @1:58 , so cute!

  • @DCFCREJ Yeah, I went ''Aww'' right there :3 Freaking adorable!

  • Awww, best part is @2:00 so cute ^^

  • ok, 1; that is one huge damned elk. 2; weren't you a little bit scared for your dog? Those horns are DEADLY! 3; Did you have an elephant gun pointed at that thing? I'm guessing you guys don't hunt...

  • nature is the funniest place :D

  • lol it seemed like the dog was like " hey what are you watchya doing here " and the elf was like "eh ill eat her later"

  • I love seeing this, only if people could be the same when meeting different races.

Thank you so Beautiful. from Australia.

  • Well you know its like they say there is a friend for everyone or thing out there you just got to look closley

  • Wow!!! Animals are amazing!

  • What a display of submission your pup showed to that bull by laying her head on him. Too cute

  • lol he rest his head on the elk, my st bernard does that to me all the damn time n then he looks up at me like "what?'. nice vid

  • awesome, but it does look a bit like your dog (jenny) might have pissed of the elk a little at around 2:58 :). Nice video :)

  • @Legendary4030 if the elk was pissed off he would of jumped straight up and mauled her, just seemed to be curios like the dog... i think the reason the elk stayed on the floor like that was because he wanted the dog to come to him, he knew if he would of got up the dog would of ran for it

  • That dog has some major skills

  • omg 2:00 was awesome

    the elk was so calm

  • Shouldnt the elk be more wary of a dog. Especially a dog that has a resemblance to a wolf.

  • nice looking dog what is he/she a huskie?

  • lol thats pretty amazing

and look at the freakin size difference that is a massive deer!

  • That elk is freak enormous!!!

  • That dogs wants to screw that elk.

  • haha the elk is jus being lazy and found itself a good patch of grass

  • Really sweet doggie :D

  • this is so cute

  • The Elk are always coming over to talk to the horses at the Ranch here in Estes Park

  • Only in CO.... uhm.. could you send your Elk over, my dog doesn't have anyone to play with either.

  • What a cute husky dog. She really tries hard to be buddies.

  • lol, no way! ya right, thats your pet Elk and thats a wild dog...You almost had me ,lol. COOL

  • I hope you have a still photo of the scene where your husky is kind of behind the elk, a place you paused it around 2:00 on the video. What a great picture that is!

  • Thanks for the comment. Linda

  • it says in the description loveland colorado my grandpa used to live there and would have deer and elk in his yard a lot just relaxing and enjoying the day and eating all the weeds out of his yard so he never had to worry about them he even bought a salt lick block for them to have as a treat its really nice to see them outside and dont have to worry about hunters being around to shoot them

  • its all fun and games till you get kicked in the face...

  • what a precious video and the music is kinda funny too.

  • I'm not anti hunting, especially when one hunts for food. But I'd have to give this buck a pass. You can't close your eyes to natures way, and sometimes that means some animals display that something extra. Got to respect it.

I'd go for the next Buck.

    Cool vid!

  • If it was in season i would have shot it.

  • It's so huge! Huskies are big dogs. It looks like a kitten next to that elk.

  • Lol it's Moro the wolf and the Forest Spirit from Princess Mononoke! :D

  • cccuuuuttteeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Actually Elk are in the family of cervidae which is the deer family. Not everything that is a bull are cow are in the family of cattle which is bovidae. are Elephants in the cow family?...no

  • thats funny are elephants in the cow family?

  • no they are not

  • absolutly not.

  • Elk, Elk, Elk. I used to feed them carrots out my dad's bathroom window.

  • No offense but isn't that illegal auntyv?

  • What - illegal to feed them? Oh - but okay to shoot them? They were on our private property. They also ate blackberries on our lower 20 acres and occasionally ate hay with our cows in our open barn. Are you suggesting my family should have been charged with a crime?

  • No it's nothing like that well I just mentioned it because where I live It's illegal to feed any wildlife period anywhere I never said I wanted you to get arrested I was just wondering. Sorry If I offended you.

  • cow elk don't have antlers buddy!

  • That's too funny. Great footage, not a bad little bull either. How long did he hang around?
