  • love that transition from the chords back to the picking

  • The muted part is crazy :)

  • I wanna stick you on a stage with some nice reverb, get a glass of beer and listen to you all night. No homo.

  • I thought this was gonna be a cover of Jimi's tune. Regardless, wonderful sounds Adam. Thanks so much.

  • INSANE

  • inspiring!

  • you are beastly

  • Superbe !!!!

  • To much corporal expression for the music is going on, faked. Not good attack, I hardly can listen the runs. Sound weak....

  • @Guitarnazis Do you know what is really weak? Someone who calls himself Guitarnazis, tells an extremely talented musician he plays poorly, and not even have one video of yourself playing guitar on YouTube to prove you have any skill at all. I'm sure you don't even play guitar. If you do then you play heavily distorted garbage that doesn't take any real skill or talent.

  • Perhaps a good stage name might be "Eminent to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" :d good picking though. As long as there is a legacy and pocket change what better reason to extinguish our bodies?

  • @norunaround Ha!! Yes, this technique is something I have developed for years and I always warm up slow. Don;t try this at home, kids :-)

  • yeeeeha!

  • sickest shit ever!!

  • awesome

  • very cool. My forearm is aching just watching you

  • hey i play ukulele and i was wondering how can u pick faster with the strummng hand without usning a pick?

  • @headcrae I am using a flatpick in this video!!!

  • 210*** very good

  • AWESOMEEEEEEEE

  • Pick or no pick, you can still shred. Your right-hand technique is impeccable, totally impressive work

  • Yo Adam - do NOT stop making facial expressions while playing because some people dont get it. This isnt a phenomenon only done by tommy emmanuel - its done by most musicians who "are feeling it", its a natural response. If the musician aint feeling it then its unlikely the listeners will either. Keep doing what you gotta do to remain an awesome player !!!

  • Making faces is part of performing. I have to say though that Tommy Emmanuel is the most NATURAL and believable person who practices this. I have NEVER seen someone play who seems so into it as Tommy and is real.

  • Great! I like your humming and watching you play, you really show how you like to play it :)

  • THis piece is very influenced by Tommy. I will take your advice, thank you.

  • He can't help out the face. I Love the face :-) It really shows how much he's into the music and how he express his feelings through the music.

  • u shud do cliffs of dover :) :D

  • what type of strings do u use?

  • This is so good. I'd love to see a video of you playing "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" or "Hog Bitch Stomp" by Buckethead. That would be absolutely killer. Rock on, mate. Thanks for the great tunes.

    -Conor

  • That was kick ass!

  • człowieku , o to chodzi:) Lepiej tego zagrac nie można :)

  • Reminds me a lot of the song "Midnight Express" by Extreme / Nuno Bettencourt. Look it up on YouTube by typing: midnight express Nuno. The name of the youtube account with a great vid of it is TOBLERONETWO so look that up too!

  • Do you have any recordings available? MP3s? CD's?

    Thanks for posting this.

  • top line talent

  • Ok now I'm really irked. Why is this guy not walking the red carpet? Why do we as a buying and listening public continue to support vacuous music that doesn't mean shit to a tree. Honestly, this cat is outstanding! Really though, am I totally out of my head? I don't think so. Man, just a discrace that....well who knows perhaps he's doing just fine where he is. What the hell do I know.

  • Not to worry, things are going well. Touring is picking up & I am playing with TE in Bangkok on Oct 31. Granted I am not at a Britney Spears level yet....

    :-)

  • That makes me glad. Truly I am gob smacked by the music you have been putting out. Thank you. Any gigs in Ontario? "I wish" OMG man my head was cleaved from my body, just fantastic.

  • Your songs have life in their.

    Thank for uploading.

Have a great time in Thailand.

Btw, it seems a lot rainy in BKK now.

  • Adam, keep it going, you're the best! I think your secret lies with your "slim" fingers. Hope you can find time to drop by the Philippines or Taiwan.

  • But you are much better than Britney

    :)

  • perfect! u have talent!

  • Really Amazing man...Congratulations..!!

  • which is the mark of the acoustic guitar?

  • Outstanding artistry!

  • i thought you were gonna play Hendrix

  • hell yeah!

  • Bad ass God!! It' s so important to freakface the whole song, because that shows real

    PASHION! 5 stars (what else)

    :D

  • Sounds a little bit like Tall Fiddler from Tommy Emmanuel

    But still sounds awesome!

  • can anyone tell me what kind of scale 1:19 is?

  • wow!!! amazin'!!!

  • congrats

  • Your technique is marvalous. Its invisible. So much musicality shines through there. Great.

  • greatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • what is the artist for this song?

  • WOW! Excellent job, brother. Any chance you've tabbed this song out somewhere? Or at least provided the tuning? Is it DGDGBE, perhaps? The vid stutters a little on my slow PC, but it sounds like there's a little Brad Davis style DDU? Nice work!

  • Hey bro....yep that's the tuning. I will tab this. Yes I dig Brad!!!!

  • complete controll throughout, very nice

  • alien. definetly alien

  • Sure he studied and sure he had great teachers, but I tend to think that there are alien forces at work here. Shhh...quiet please...pondering this theory. Um...maybe not, maybe he's just damn good and I've had way too much Starbucks coffe for my own good. Keep it up the good work Adam. Thanks. Peace.

  • Music Ed! Starbucks is partly resposinble for me playing music like this...:-) Actually I introduce this one at gigs saying "this next song is a little like Dukes of Hazzard meets Van Halen"....well it is, isn't it? :-) Glad you dug it...

  • ok, im definitely subscribing.

  • OK. WOW!

  • wow u have amazed and inspired me again to get myself an acoustic guitar, i love how you just use one instrument and its so full, you don't sound like your missing anything. Plectrum skills as well, Sweep, Alternate Picking, you sound amazing, so you can play electric guitar as well?

  • sick. Just sick.

  • hey pretty cool, this song sonds very familiar, like from a musical

  • Love it!

    Great playing mate!

  • That is just exciting to hear and see. Great writing and playing.

  • Hi Adam.

The Taylor sounds superbly in yours hands. I'd like to know which model it is.

    Thanks for the footage!

  • 314 CE. THANK YOU!

  • Are you self taught?

Or did you have some instruction along the way?

  • Good Question. I have had lots of teachers, most importantly my jazz teacher who was Dizzy Gillespie's pianist. What I do with solo guitar is a combo of all I have learned and is my own approach, but there is a lot going on "under the hood" . I had to teach myself a lot, and practice A LOT - but I did study music seriously! Thank You for the comment!

  • can you happen to tell me kind of picks you use, like the guage and material, thanks great playing!!

  • Sure. I use .012's - experimenting with different types, D'Addarios are nice and cheap but the regular strings die quick. Also messing with Elixirs & Cleartones.

Picks on acoustic that I use are Jim Dunlop medium thumbpicks (no right hand nails at all) and for flatpicking a big Dunlop 208. It feels like carbon - stiff and pointy.

    Hope that helps!

  • Again....very,very cool.I think I may have to stop watching you and go practice some.

  • Thank you!

  • very EXPRESSIVE! as all your videos! great playing, love ur videos

    cheers from Spain!

  • Thanks!

  • a god!

  • Hey, Adam! Really great stuff! The funny thing is, most of these viewers probably have no idea that you are one of the best bop players in the country! Why don't you post some of your other stuff, too, to show them your alter ego? - Dana W, Spokane

  • Sick, dude!

  • Honestly I cannot stop WOW!wow!wow!

  • Great stuff, bro.
