Not all that practical to have multi-touch when using photoshop... And using a tablet takes awhile to get used to, atleast it did for me. I still use the mouse for the majority of photoshop and then use the tablet when I need to do fine detail drawing.
The microsoft table, is a table, with several cameras underneath. This is a tablet, big difference.
If you want to get technical you could say that neither are original, as the technology has been around for years in the form of over the head projectors with cameras powered by open source libraries. Hm?
Apple didn't not invent that zoom feature. That feature was on countless multitouch screens before Apple even began making the iphone. Look up Jeff Han's screen for example. So if it's stole from anywhere, it's the multitouch screens from the past.
Microsoft Surface is not the first of it's kind. In fact, there's many multitouch devices made (just like MS surface). Jazzmutant has had a multitouch music based system far before the MS surface. They have now expanded to PC based software.
This is some crazy sh*t ! How many fingers can you use at the same time ? Does/will it react to finger pressure level ? I'm thinking about music/keyboard applications.
