The I phone is only good for 300 charges. You have to send it back to apple to get a replacement battery for 100 dollars. You have to send it to them because you can not take the battery out on your own. I know this because I was one of the testers of the iphone for Verizon when apple came to us wanting to offer it exclusively to us. We denied it because it did not meet our expectations and we knew lg was coming out with the voyager which did not have as many problems.

It is obviously important for idiots that buy iProducts with a ridiculous amount of storage only made to impress those you speak of. I have a 2GB on my SE phone and is plenty room for videos, music and and big enough files of my entire art portfolio, and guess what I still have about 500 to 600 MB left. Now the reason why you'd want that much in a phone like this is not to carry around your stupid 10,000 music files of which you only listen to 10 on any given day. It is for software.

I actually really enjoy my 30 gigs of portable music/movie space, and would argue it is stil not quite enough. Because i never know up front what kind of music im gonna want to listen, i have most of my music library on this player, so i can choose whatever, whenever. This is why you would need 30 gigs, or more. Movies easily take 600 mb, and servies 3-4 gig per season, so i would actually consider buying a 80 or 160 gig version, to fitt it all permenantly.

I hear the same from many people that at the end endup listening to the same crap over and over and/or skipping songs every 30 seconds (which is annoying as fuck if you asked me). There is no need to have all that crap in one device just so you have more than a few choices, I think this is just an excuse to justify jumping in the band wagon. Lol, Well i can tell you that none of the money that went into my iPod came from my rich parents, and i got my fair share of ass-kicking. I don't really get your hostility towards my choice of mp3/mp4 player, its really just a choice.

I explored other options, like creative zen and Iaudio, still my main points were ease of use and looks (thin+slick), and seeing that i used iTunes prior to owning an iPod the choice was simple, cause price differences were small/nonexistent. I hate bandwagons. :P

Its GSM, so no Sprint/Verizon. Only carriers who are in tune with what the rest of the world is doing, such as ATT and T-Mobile in the US.

Not that anyone would want it was on Sprint/Verizon anyway. As we all know either two of those companies would cripple the phone and force you to use their own pay services (like removing OBEX Bluetooth, forcing thier craptastic Sprint/Verizon software onto the Xperia panels, making GPS only work with their pay/suscriber software...you get the point)
