  • I like this version more than English one :S

  • halloween had an e where the a is

  • (For all Hetalia fans xD) The monster under the bed sounds like male!Belarus a bit, or just a deep-voiced regular Belarus.. xD

  • i want the download

  • I didnt know patrick could speak japanese

  • oogie boogie sounds like Patrick from spongebob:P

  • Oogie Boogie sounds like a Rapist. o.o'' I was legitimately scared. LMFAO.

  • The subtitle is simply the original English lyrics. Making it a little awkward if you understand Japanese, it felt as if someone liberally translated the Japanese version and gave it a funkier feel... I can't really tell how, but it's just awkwardly funny.

  • Harroween! Harroween! lol XP I love japanese accents

  • The monster under the bed is awesome in every language, and I love how the vampires always have a high pitched voice in every version

  • HOLY CRAP! I must look up every version in every language now!

  • i like the polish version better

  • i dont know why but this song made me cry

  • Omg this is so cute I love it.

  • The creature under the bed at 0:50 sounded extremely pissed off, this song gets very scary when you can't understand more then 5 words.

  • @silverrosedragon18 you thing this is scary look up the russian version omg.....

  • the russian and the japanese version are the scarriest ever :O

  • the Japanese makes it scary!

  • lol Towards the end of the song.. I heard a dude that sounded like Jaken from InuYasha....

  • This is ALOT scarier than the english the english version

  • I think this scares children more than the english version e_e

  • @Devilmon484 If this scares children more than the English version, the Russian version would have them afraid of their beds for a good 5 years.

  • @MiyuuxReika Lol i know right XD

  • it<<#s just amazing that i love this song in every language XD

  • Nibba Nibba, FTW!

  • @XenonMan1 gniba gniba ihih xD

  • Ooogy has the best fit.

  • 2:48 = lady boner

  • Le mot favourite a japonaise sont kabucha.Je parle japonaise aussi, et alors je sais ce que cela signifie. il signifie la citrouille. a anglais le mot sont pumpkin.

  • 1:19 "nibuh-nibuh"

  • 2:09 HOLY!

  • 1:24 Witches basically explaining that's only the MILD monsters, wait til you see the clown or that fat mother.

  • 0:44 Old grandpa constipated

  • Now I need to watch the Japanese version of this movie. It sounds like it would be so much better!

  • i think the clown fits PERFECT

  • @HaiAbbyBear RAN RAN RU ;D

  • JAKKODA!

  • Also that werewolf sounds like a badass.

  • @chipmunx sounds loke a yakusa or something like that xD.

  • the voice if the snake monster is so epic

  • OMG amazing Japanese very funny but original is vary vary Funny

  • That clown in English= Scary.

That clown in Japanese= FUCKING SATAN.

  • SO CUTE XD

  • the russian version is WAY creepier. LOVE this version better than the english

  • ジャックだ!

  • Me encanto como cantaron las brujas

  • UGH! I can't wait to hear the jrock band Sadie's version of this....

  • LOL! Fabulous!!! I love this.

  • Wow! I never knew there was Japanese version *_*

Its sounds a bit more evil and cooler than the regular version :D

  • i never knew they made THIS version :O it sounds so different xD

  • @Heylilvelvet why on earth wouldn't they? When a movie is sent in from a foreign country wouldn't it make sense to translate it to the native language? (let's face it most people don't want to watch subs on the big screen)

  • @wickedwitchwest12323 I was just saying i never knew is all lol im just used to listening to the english version :) i like both but im just not used to this version so NIBBA NIBBA!! Just kidding xD ROFL but ik what you mean rofl xD

  • It's the only one adaption, in another langauge, that follows the original lyrics and not different meanings or phrases. Thats what I like about it, so far at least :P

  • I find it a little difficult to decide which Oogie I prefer.

I mean, the original suits the character better.

His voice is gritty, with a touch of old soul in it.

It suits a Gamblin' Boogie Man.

However, the Japanese version sounds darker, more sinister.

It sounds like I always imagined the Boogieman sounding.

And his line in this song really doesn't work with a Gamblin' Boogie Man.

  • Everything sounds better in Japanese! ^_^

  • @Trace3690 Everything except Caramelldansen.

  • @GeekHippieEndarkened i like caramelldansen in japanese, too!

  • I lost it at the "NIBBA NIBBA!" part. That was HILARIOUS!!!

  • trolololol, fail translation :B

  • That's the best, Oogieboogie voice ever

  • @MatsuyamaSara lol was that oogieboogie?!! haahahha xDD im so stupid!!!

  • @MikaMouse15 Mr. Google says "Oogie boogie"

  • japanese kids probably scream their asses off when they watch this movie

  • You should translate the japanese lyrics instead of using the english ones. They are different since they changed some of the lyrics to sound better and fit the song the same way when its in a different language. They don't translate word for word in the same spots or it would sound weird to them and not fit the music.

  • @PinkSneaselGirl plus some words don't exist in other languages.

  • @PinkSneaselGirl I need to agree with this. Part of the fun of listening to these songs in non-English languages is finding out what new lyrics the translators make up to fit with the melody but still make sense both in the language and in the context of the song's original lyrics.

  • you just gave the english lyrics - there's a different meaning to the japanese.

  • This sounds sooo SIIIICKKK!!! XD

  • Moster thing: "NIBBA NIBBA~"

Me: "......PFFFFFT AHAHAHA *SNORT* HAHAHAHAHA *SNORT* WHAT THE HELL?!?! NIBBA NIBBAAAAA~~~~~~~~~" XD

  • rofl the Monster Under Your Bed's voice was awesome, he sounded like a wierd old man. XD And ohmygod, I almost busted a gut from the "NIBBA NIBBA" part.

But seriously, I love all of the voices, they have such great personalities!

  • waaaaaii somehow the japanese "i am the one hiding under your bed" gives a new level of sinister to it

  • Dont you think 1:19 sounds like a retarded kid? THISA HARROREEN!!! can you just imagine a retarded kid screaming that while you awkardly walk past in walmart and his mom is like "billy shh....."

  • 1:19 sounds like a really angry retarded kid. Cant you just imagine a retarded kid screaming like that in walmart while you walk by awkwardly?

  • I'm sorry, but i think people should leave versions of english songs in english, and japanese songs in japanese..

  • Oh my god..... i love this!!!!!

  • The english is the english lyrics not subtitle but its actually pretty close in some parts

  • is it just me, or do the witches sound a BIT more attractive?

  • @1201rico ya know, your kinda right. lol

  • so much cooler than english =D

  • is ther a way to get a version without the sound effects?

  • Normaly the JP version is the best and normaly my favorite but to be true this wasn't so good i liked the kids and the witchs but thats all oogie boogie was (in my opinion) horryble (not the voice but more the lyrics didn't quite fit well)

Till now the scaryest one was the russian version.

The monster under the bed, the voice at the beginning and all the other voices showed me that the russian language can be the scaryest one.

  • hey look its soul eater

  • Why Japanese had to do everything better :P

  • LOL. The monster under the bed sounds like an old man. The RUSSIAN version is the best. <3 Or german.

  • For some reason this really cracks me up...

  • I haven't found the song in portuguese jet. but if you say it's good i'll give it a try ;)

  • i have heard this song in:

    english

    german

    japanese

    russian

    french

    spanish

    and italian

I love these different versions ;)

  • @KaruraSabakuno How about Brazilian Portuguese?! It's awesome too!

    (Yeah, I'm from Brazil!) =D

  • ahaha! this is creepier than the english version bahahha! but Marlin Masons is the creepiest like im still scared that Marlin Manson is hiding under my bed bahahaha!

  • My two favourite things put together. <3

    MAGICAL~ :D

  • guy under bed: under the bed / you will see me / sharp fangs and red eyes

guy under stairs: under the stairs / you will see me / fingers made of snakes in my hair like this

guy in the moon: i am a shadow projected on the moon / when you have nightmares, you believe it's just the wind

bat kid and fat kid: even there and even here, the kids are nice / nights like that are boring

mom and dad: that's our job - halloween

anyone with better japanese, feel free to correct me ^^

  • well atleast they kept the right lyrics for this version :)

  • i like the japanese one better than the english xD it does sound a little scarier lol :P

  • @claustrophobic1234 As long as you're not the type that bashes English dubs of anime then I respect your opinion. ^_^

  • @OniLordMiki nah i don't bash the eng dubbed ones ^^ i will admit that i dont care for them though, but they are alright ^^

  • i hope the people of japan liked it as much as us americans did

  • Just as epic as the english version!

  • I like this version better than the english :)

  • cartoons:))

  • The Voice of the monster under the bed is SOOOO cute. It sounds sort of like crayon Shin-chan...

  • thats rlly creepy. . . . . . . .it says Halloween right XD well not "right" sorry :(

  • heh yeah the english dont match the jap. lyrics, but i like it. i've never heard it until now. sounds AWESOME!! ^_^

  • i love how the mayor says Halloween town! i don't know why.

  • This Is ADORABLE

(In a Creepy and dirsturbing way)

    ^^

  • This is interesting and awesome. I liked ogie boogie.

  • its even better!

  • wow, its so trippy watching the Japanese version, but I bet they say that about the English version. =]

  • awesome ... its even scarier that the english version.... cool song... and i cant get it of my head!! O__O

  • i cant help laughing.... but its awsome

  • Me too XD

Every frightening movie where others would screams makes me laugh.

  • this is got to be alot scarier in Japanese just to say

like now i want to watch it in Japanese lol

gotta find a website where i can though XD

  • @hellgurl234 its mostly in japan the japanese version

  • @hellgurl234 im from japan

  • @hellgurl234 and its not scary in japan grudge is scary more than this

  • @hellgurl234 BUY THE MOVIE.

  • @Clay3613 I own it jeez stfu thats an old ass comment

  • this isn't an actual translation of the japanese song into english is it? they lyrics would have to be somewhat different from the english lyrics, because if you take a sentence and translate it into japanese from english, it would take a longer time or shorter time frame to say it....so the japanese can't be direct because it wouldn't fit with the song. for example, kore ga halloween, tanoshii halloween i'm pretty sure means "this is halloween, correct, halloween!" ...just saying..

  • No, it's not a translation of the Japanese lyrics, it's just the English lyrics. Though the Japanese lyrics are similar and convey the exact same thing as, they're obviously different. One big difference is where the English says 'Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back and scream like a banshee', but the Japanese says 'When The Great Jack scares you, your heart will stop'.

(Also, 'Kore ga Halloween, tanoshii Halloween' means 'This is Halloween, fun Halloween'. You're thinking 'tadashii'.)

  • mp3 plz?

  • OMG I LOVE THIS i wanted to make my utau (dont ask if you dont know) sing this and she sings japanese!

  • I wish someone would make Teto sing this

oh boy! What fun that would be!

  • Oh goodie! please do! :D

  • Yeah. And Naruto is better in spanish.

    LOL

  • @FarXFromXL0nleyX i agree it kinda adds to the mood more than the english, i wish they had marylin manson's version in japanese too

  • @sheiks65 That would be.... kinda pointless imo.

  • @FarXFromXL0nleyX Listen to the Russian or the German version and THEN tell me which one sounds scary.

  • @FarXFromXL0nleyX So does Marylin Manson's version! :D

  • That was awesome!Loved it!<3

  • i wanted to hear jacks japanese voice oh well

  • The lyrics in english aren't the same. You have it wrong. All you did is add english lyrics and say "THIS IS HALLOWEEN, JAPENESE WITH LYRICS IN ENGLISH"
