Bottom line: Microsoft whines and buys everyone out, just about. It's quite obvious. Tekken was made for Playstation, enough said. They wanted it to, wahhh wahhh, so they payed up. I bet they payed a pretty penny just to get MGS Rising on their console. Resident Evil and Devil May Cry as well. Just a few examples. On the flipside, I am glad a wider audience can enjoy the great series that is Tekken, but the fact of the matter still remains.

There are far more gamers on the 360, and the developers wants to milk all the gamer audiences they can get hold of. Besides, there's nothing about Tekken 6 that can't be handled on the 360, and multiplatform games sell 3 times better on the 360 than they do on the PS3. Seriously, it really does pisses me off when PS3 fanboys start crying over losing its exclusives. Sony dont give a fuck about their developers, Microsoft do, no need for the Sony fanboys to get their panties in a twist because Sony dont give a shit about their own audience. MGS4 is the best selling exclusive PS3 game, and it still did far worse than Halo 3 in sales. Developers acknowledged this, and thought "fuck the exclusitivity, since Sony aint even paying us for it"

Sony owns half of Tekken. But, Namco makes all the development decisions. It's pretty clear what's happened; Namco got an offer from MS that they couldn't refuse. Namco couldn't do that without Sony's OK, sooo Namco stalled (embarrassing Sony, since T6 WAS a *launch* title, and since the arcade board is similar enough to the PS3 so that most of the code was reusable). Sony wanted the game released and now Namco is writing the XBox360 code (thus the 1 year delay for PS3 owners).
