That was actually amazing ... liked the improv although like u say in the description there were a few slip-ups but this nowhere near made me drop my rating from 5 Stars. Makes me want to take up guitar again whenever i listen to this solo.
I thought it was really good. It did the song justice, if I have one complaint it was that the song works a little better if you start off the beginning a little slower and build up to speed. That is very minor however, because you did great. WIN.

il take ur last comment as a concession that u cant do better and that u r in fact 1 of those guys who seems to get pleasure from giving a negative analysis of anothers work, until u can play the guitar and actually hav an idea wat it takes to play with passion: fuck off
if you're scared of ANY kind of negative feedback, why upload this where anyone can view it? and also, judging by the way you play this, you don't really play with much passion yourself.
i welcome any kind of criticism if its justified and not merely a pea-brained attempt to pass judgement. You say to play with more feeling? explain exactly wat it is u mean and how my lack of "passion" comes across...
i mean that there are some guitar solos (generally slower ones, such as this or pink floyd's comfortably numb) where it's not just a case of hitting the notes, it sounds better when bends are in the right place and of the right speed, and when little delays are put in between notes. sorry if i sounded antagonistic before.
sorry to reply to my own comment... but i just want to say that you've got the notes of the solo down perfectly. now to make it sound truly awesome you need to work on the bends and stuff i mentioned before. i'll be rooting for you!

I downloaded the new black mages album recently, its pretty good and theres a song on that (track 6 i think) thats got a pretty cool solo in it. wudnt mind givin it ago but my bends and timing definitely need some work first! dyu play urself?
