I know someone else already asked but not certain of the answer so I will ask what broad head? Looks like little or no penetration and a high shoulder hit in the shield? I reckon he would have ran a long way? You were real lucky to find that pig.
@MrBeartheoriginal Thanks for the kind comments mate. It was a Rage Broadhead we were hunting fallow deer. Not the best head for pigs. The way he was laying the shot went in a bit high but angled right down into his heart if you watch him run just before he goes out of sight he starts to nose dive he crashed right there that was the end of him.
sweet stuff clint...good solid boar;what heads did you use? didnt look like a lot of peno? had the shaft bounced back out a bit? nice story in the wild deer mag,big thanks...

@BOWHUNTERLODGE Rage mate we were chasing fallow. It did the job he nose dives just out of the camera view but yeah not the best head for pigs
