The Embassy Suites, Division of Hilton Hotels have taken all Ads away...including those that were presently running. They said they "took down all ads and contacted Gov. Palin to advise they would not condone the inappropriate remarks", etc. I believe there is also a group called American Hotels etc...something like that, they withdrew first...or at least it was reported before the others.

As with the Olive Garden "announcement" which turned out to be false, Olive Garden is a chain owned by a parent company. As far as Embassy Suites, (unless it's retracted like Olive Garden), their statement says they were not a sponsor or advertiser on Letterman. It goes on to say that they pulled online ads form several websites including CBS, AMONG OTHERS. How does that relate to letterman? The spokesman also said that the CBS website ads have been taken down TEMPORARILY rather than ES being part of the controversy. It makes clear that ES is taking neither side on the issue.

A Gallup poll last week asked "Who is leading the Republican party". She wasnt among those getting more than half a percent of the vote. Maybe if you had better charisma (if you had "said" it). If Obama was more like Bush, then it would have been HILARIOUS.
But I do agree with you that it wasn't the best joke out there. I've heard funnier. I just think people should lighten up and relax. It could have been worse. It could have actually happened. Then no one would be laughing ... at first.

Liberal Democrats and Conservative Democrats and liberal Christians and Liberals in general do -not- condemn single mothers or teenage mothers.
They see them as young American women who may need our help.
It is Sarah -Palin-'s supporters who condemn unwed mothers and want to let the innocent children fall into poverty in order to "punish" their mothers for having sexual intercourse or "fornicating" as they call it.
