Very inspiring to me and others and honestly where I am in my life is that I was basically raised by grandmother and I knew my father a little bit but I've been thinking that it's never too late to create a male bond even though I may be gay myself. That goes to show you that GOD has a purpose for you inspite of what the world thinks.He knew what you were going to be before your were forme GOD never said he hated gay people. any sex without marriage is a sin.that why he sent Jesus because no human being could live up to the law. You have purpose and as long as you have a relationship with him he will guide you through this journey. read your bible, stay preyed up and know GOD never makes mistakes . You are a child of GOD
Thanks so much for sharing. I'm getting tears on my keyboard. I lost my mom when I was 19. I wish she could have known me as an adult. Even if she perhaps would've rejected me due to my sexual orientation, I still wish we could have known each other as adults. But like you, I draw from the blessed experience of being loved by someone for however short a time. I was loved.
I can relate to everything you just said and that is no lie. I didn't have no father figure to look up to I just had my favorite uncle. But I don't have him anymore he passed away last year. And I treat my nephews and nieces like they are my own so in away I am like a father figure to them. So I understand all of what you said, this was a good blog. Thank you!!
I can totally relate. I asked one of my friends that if God really hates me, and if I'm truly destined for hell then why would he allow me to feel love to such an extent that I've felt. I've always had someone who believes in me, who helps me, who lifts me when I'm completely down, and I've come out to people who might not agree with homosexuality, but who are able to love me despite me being gay. I believe that I've been to blessed, and fortunate in my life time for my father to not love me.
@Riokoruk I know he loves us all; I think it is really really complicated. I wish I had the answers to it. I am struggling with a lot of those issues in my own life. I believe in God, and I believe in the Bible. My struggle is a hard one, if I believe in the Bible I have to believe in the entire Bible,right? Then I get confused as to why this happened to me. It is hurtful to say the least. Yes, God loves us. That is about as much as I understand though. Everything else, I do not know.

I don't personally feel that you need a higher being, like a god, to explain what you experienced. Fact is, you were surrounded by good people. Those good people provided what you needed, and gave you the love and things that make you the wonderful man that you are.
