You clearly have not seen the real version. The English release edited out Godzilla's roar (as well as some other things) because King Kong was the more popular monster in America. It was in fact, a draw, though Godzilla would crush (literally) the real King Kong, considering he's only like 25 ft tall to Godzilla's 60 or so meters.
