You can hear them talk about the screamer in the commentary of Left 4 Dead 1, someone also recorded the audio and put it on a video on youtube.

So if you're curious just type in Left 4 Dead screamer, it also shows a video on what the screamer would have looked like if he made it into the game.

If no one knows what the screamer is, it was a special infected that was cut from Left 4 Dead 1. Its job was to attract the horde, until it was decided that it did not fit with the game too well.

Then the horde drawing ability was given to the boomer in his new vomit attack, and the boomer exploision was changed from damage dealing to bile splattering.

Then the screamer was cut.

Gabe Newell considers developing for PS3 a waste of time because it would take more resources to do so. Right now, they have experience developing for PC and 360 isn't much different, so that's 2/3rds of the market (Wii who?). Why spend more money to corner that last third of the market? This is why Sony gets the better exclusives and PC and 360 get the better versions of cross-platform games.

No, at least not as of yet. Valve was not happy with the porting job EA did with the Orange Box for PS3, so they're likely not going to use them again to port a game to PS3. My guess would be that if a Sony team, a team that knows how to optimize for the PS3's system (we know the PS3 is more than capable of running these games, EA just half-assed the job) wanted to take on porting 3rd party games, Valve might be willing to make a deal.

It's selling just fine. Not as good as Wii or 360, because the Wii covers the old people and children market, and the 360 covers the market of people who can justify spending $400 on a system and $50 a year for as long as they play online rather than spending $500 on a system and having free online capabilities forever. Makes sense, right? Right? And PSN is perfectly fine - only some games lag. KZ2 runs smooth as silk, for example.

Valve have said before that the PS3 was a waste of time, they've very unhappy with the job EA London did with the Orange Box (framerate drops, loading times, etc). They have no in-house PS3 developers.
