I don't know why but this is very touching. Perhaps because I feel my own sanity slipping away too. When I was like ten years old, everybody knew I would only get straight A's, become a docter and cure cancer. I had many friends. Looking back at that time, I never would have thought I would get to the point where I am now. Depressed and confused, having a hard time fitting in society and having too many corners in my mind.
Hauntingly Lovely! Not just musically but the story.
Life is so full of loss, Mental disorders are just harder to understand I guess so harder to come to terms with, so people often just turn away, it's nice that you do not.
@ellemadison : Hi Elle, I grew up in Oshkosh, lived in Italy for three years, St. Louis for 10, Chicago for 20, so I haven't traveled the world, but I can say I have never seen anyone as genuine as you. I too lost a friend in a similar situation- it hurts. L's b's, Rick
wow, simply amazing. carrer out of this & release an album =-). i usually dont listen to music from today. only from the 90's & downwards. your songs take me back in time. =-p
Love all your songs. From my understanding, people with schizophrenia can try have a normal life, if they continue to take their medication. However, that same medication also causes depression.
Wistfully thoughful and pensive in your voicings...truly mournful due to loss.
Music expresses our most personal feelings...not all of them an upbeat matter.
Once again, I find myself revising my opinion. Well done Elle! I find myself bookmarking 1:08 and recuing back to it....2.1 thumping , and my eyes closed :)
Awesome work; your vocals are terrific! I have a relative that is paranoid schizophrenic. It's not easy interacting with him but patience and understanding are the key since I know that it's the disease that's responsible for his behavior and deep down he's still a good person.
I am fighting depression for pain and I learned a lot about different things, some ppl really don't understand about things like this but I would like to say I'm very sorry about your loss. and you have a beautiful voice. hope life treats you good. I think it will :)
This is a great sound and lyrics***** You are very talented.. Whenever I rock back and forth while sitting at the computer - that tells me the music is great - so this music is great!
Cool, but sad. Hope your friend will get better.
