  • Go figure, the title track is one of the best songs off the album.

  • it's ironic because I am a deep deep lover of Frusciante but I always come back to this album, and think, Navarro really makes this album what it is. it's great and it's right up there with all of the other chili peppers albums (pre-Stadium Arcadium albums)

  • @ginadee007 pre stadium arcadium means all of their albums except for stadium arcadium and im with you and that is quite a lot

  • Their most hardest rocking album, wish they were all like this

BSSM would come in a close 2nd

  • God. I. Fucking. Love. This. Album.

A glorious combination of two of my favorite bands of all time, Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

This album is so dark, warped and twisted that it always takes me to another place.

Dave Navarro , Anthony, Flea, Chad are all legends. ^_^

  • Sometimes it's better to stick to the video, even if it's just one picture. Not to watch comments. I am happy because I don't understand people in general. :) Peace

    P.S. Jooooohn Motherfucking Fruscianteeeeeee!!!!!! :PPPPP

  • true RHCP fans dont hate on john just because... they know

  • for me One Hot Minute is on my Top 5 best albums of RHCP

  • juust high

  • 5:17 - 6:06

    LOVE IT!

  • I love it how everyone says the newer RHCP songs are always the worst ones.

They release a new album, people gasp about it then "Ah it sucks". Seems like I'm the odd one out

  • A person I know told me Stadium Arcadium is better than One Hot Minute. Pfff, as if as if

  • Hearing him sing to Dave Navarro's guitar is pretty awesome :)

  • this song make me hawny

  • Read in IMDB that this song is related to River Phoenix. I don't see how..?

  • @theringsofmynotebook i believe "transcending" is the one related to him. i think it was written by flea, about/for him.

  • @leonsolo01 oh, thnx!

  • RHCP

Y U NO PERFORM SONGS FROM THIS ALBUM ???

  • I love the end

  • i agree i tend to listen to harder stuff and this album is as close as they get to grunge. Great stuff, just takes a different mood to listen to it than the rest of their stuff, which is EPIC as well. Why, oh why did John Frusciante have to leave...

  • I like this song, But the songs are a little too grungey. Its not classic RHCP funk. It is a great album too.

  • Epic

  • Best RHCP album ever.

  • @KessonD dude that's just bull shit

  • @simondeneuki No it's a point of view. And my point of view says that this is the best RHCP album ever.

Oh and of course everything that RHCP made after "Californication" (a pretty good album) id absolutely horrible, they became an "MTV band", they sucks now.

    Sad.

  • @KessonD r you serious, so you are sayin john frusciante is mtv musician

    that's like illegal

  • @simondeneuki Didn't say that. I like Frusciante, also his own albums, and I like Navarro too. I think that "Blood Sugar Sex Magic" is a great album, a masterpiece. Before that too funky, boring for me. Also "Californication" was a very good album but after that RHCP became too much commercial for my musical taste. "By the Way" sucks, "Stadium Arcadium" suck a lot and "I'm with you" it's rubbish. "One Hot Minute" is rock, grungy, a bit dark, melodic, perfect from my point of view. A masterpiece

  • @KessonD their new stuff aint rubbish, it's mainstream :)

  • I love most of RHCP's stuff, but this is far and away my favorite album. It's so much grittier, more emotional, and darker than anything else they've put out, and you just really feel the turmoil that the band was going through, both individually and collectively. They produced something fucking amazing here. It's a shame that they've disowned this album. I adore it.

  • @CaribDevist i agree; though i love bssm, mm, and uplift just as much. this album was a lot more musical so fans of the pop aspect of chili peppers probably wont enjoy this album as much. and rhcp have turned more towards pop these days. one hot minute and im in it come and get it!

  • @CaribDevist fuck yea buddy.. there just showin how much their band can expand with this album.. i think navarro did an exceptional job with his work on this cd.. its a shame no one else seems to agree

  • @DirtyWizardSleeve Allot of people agree. The ones who bashed Navarro were the medias and the magazines. It's a great album. Except for Warped.

  • @CaribDevist Spot on. This album was by far the best they made. Just brilliant.

  • @CaribDevist what do you mean by disowned? just like they don't play songs from it anymore?

  • @goosetuff79 No, they include it at the bottom of their discography on their website, and Keidis has said that he doesn't consider it a "real" RHCP album.

  • @CaribDevist oh i see. that's interesting.

  • @goosetuff79 Though, according to wikipedia, they haven't performed any songs from it since Frusciante rejoined for Californication (except for Pea). Fuck Frusciante. He went in his five year long heroin binge, then comes back and acts like he's too good to perform any of the songs from One Hot Minute? Face it, Johnny, RHCP did their best work without your spoiled ass.

    /rant off

  • @CaribDevist I gotta try to get Frusciante to sign my copy of One Hot Minute, just to piss him off.

  • @CaribDevist wait..wait...no. nonononononono. no. not fuck frusciante. hes the fucking man. they wrote their best stuff with john*. not without him. you are making judgements about him that are completely assumed. he probably has very little to do with the fact that they dont play one hot minute songs. its probably a band decision because its more natural to play the songs you wrote with someone. john is a fucking champion.

  • @goosetuff79 I disagree. I like everything they did with Frusciante, as I said before. But, this is by far their best work. And. admittedly, I'm speculating about Frusciante's refusing to play any songs from One Hot Minute. But, it's interesting that they only song that RHCP performs from OMH is Pea, which is the song that doesn't feature any guitar.
