@c25ole Hey, layering kicks with a fat low end with a larger mid one really helps beef it up. Same with snares. I'd recommend Vengeance drum packs 1/2/3. Side chaining also helps to make your kicks stand out. Check out my channel for an example!

@c25ole Check out Ryan Enzed's essential drum pack, hes made all the samples from layering Vengeance samples, it's what I use in my tracks. Layer 2 or 3 kicks and snares for really big drums

Hey man, I think you've got some real talent from what I've heard in your songs, keep it up, you're gonna go far! I've been trying hard recently to recreate a high-pitched dubstep-type sound. It's something similar to the one used in Knife Party's VIP remix of "Crush" by Nero (that pitch-climbing sound), another example is in Skrillex - "Needed Change". I'd love it if you could take a stab at how they make it/make a tut on either cos I'd really wanna understand how that effect is made.
