If the Republicans really oppose Federal Regulations on the Internet then they should despise SOPA, oh wait they wrote that one. I say screw the Cable Companies and Screw the telecoms, It is possible to create an alternative to these money sucking vampires who have outlived there usefulness.
Any small businesses that relies on their websites will be driven out of business if we drop net neutrality. I still have yet to hear a Republican accurately describe what net neutrality even is. Expect prices to jump as well, since there will be less competition between service providers. You certainly won't be able to access advertisements from competing service providers if we drop net neutrality.
You fucktartds, 20 years from, it's not going to be the companies that are going restrict and monitor activity, access to internet. It's going to be the Federal Government.
Sorry Ms. Hutchinson, your wrong - or just putting the profits of private buisness ahead of free access to information.
Arguing against regulation of the internet because it would somehow undermine the values of openness and innovation is like arguing against financial regulations because they might cause investment firms to make a ton much money - its illogical.
Maybe its too risky for consumers to put money into big providers. Lariot is full of shit. How is it harming them? Lets not be vague, be out in the open!
So here's the lowdown republicans are trying to help out their telecom buddies by making it so net neutrality disapears so that they can diminish websites and services that they don't like. Net Neutrality has been in place for a VERY LONG TIME, all this "new rules and regulations" jargon is pure bullshit! READ PEOPLE READ! NET NEUTRALITY IS NOT GOING TO PUT UNNEEDED REGULATIONS ITS KEEPING THE BIG TELECOM COMPANIES HANDS OFF! Stop being ignorant republicans!
Oh, look. A person who has no concept about the technology involved with the Internet is trying to legislate it, even though everything she says about net neutrality is wrong.

@screwopenborders "Stop being ignorant republicans!"
do you know the definition of a word "redundancy"? Because I'm pretty sure the last two words in this sentence share the same meaning.

@atenrok lol yeah I can't really think of anything conservative about them. Only republicans that make any sense are Ron Paul and Rand Paul.
