The Leopard has a horn!? I wish the M1A2 had one, then again you probably wouldn't hear it over the whine of it's gas guzzling jet engine. Being in the US Army, I specialize on the M1A2 but my favorite tank is the Challenger II, it's more refined. A lot of Americans take offense to someone saying the M1 isn't as great as a Leopard or Challenger. But the truth is, the M1 is 30+ years old! The Leopard and Challenger series tanks in my opinion have taken what the M1 pioneered and improved them.

the leopard is actually about as old as the abrams, because both of them started of as the mbt-70 concept (a replacement for the patton, a tank capable of handling soviet armor for use in the german and us army) but they scrapped it and the german and american team split up, making different tanks using the mbt-70 concept as a start, those different tanks turned out to be leo 1 and the xm1 abrams. the challengers are alot younger though

Leo 1 predates Leo 2 and MBT-70 program I believe, more of a parallel to the M-60 iirc
