No, Blumenthal really is a lying bastard. Ziegler comess off in, well, not the best way, but that doesn't make him wrong. Although, I don't know why he'd use his middle name to solicit the interview. Fair enough on that one, but it's still a little unsurprising how many people won't cop to the facts when questioned by John Ziegler. He's very direct, and in one way that's refreshing, but in another it may not work toward his best interests.

Spengler, you make a valid point: when an audience applauds when one side appears to "win" a particular argument, it's usually due to the biases of the majority of the audience. However, it's the lightning rods of their respective causes/constituencies, the bigmouths, the bullies, the slanderers, that usually draw the biggest responses when they're called out. At least conservatives aren't dangerous; if it was a "liberal" audience, and Ziegler was on the losing end, he'd be in physical danger.
