Did anyone else notice the fact that when he "flames on", he deliberately mentions the tux and proceeds to "flame on" in the tuxedo, but for the rest of the teaser, you can clearly see his Fantastic Four suit through the flames? Who would have though? As continuity was the least of this film's problems.

This was probably the biggest of all comic book movie disappointments I've ever seen. I was barely willing to accept that they ruined a character like Dr Doom... then they go and take one of the best, most well known story arcs in COMIC BOOK HISTORY! and take out all the elements that made that story so good in the first place! WAY TO GO.... MASSIVE FAIL. This is criminal and its why I thought Marvel should have retained all their properties in the first place.

It would have been forgivable if they ended right, with a Galactus battle. Instead they fight Dr Doom... I'm sure everyone remembers him as the villain the FIRST MOVIE. Do they really have to fight him twice. And even with that, they screwed it up. According to these guys, if the Dr Doom had the Silver Surfers powers, all u have to do is sick the Super Skrull on him and thats all she wrote.

They show somewhat of an outline of what is supposed to be Galactus... why did they even bother? People who don't know anything about comics would not have even understood the purpose, (because it wasn't a clear cut image of him) and those who did get it were not in the least bit satisfied with that very minor Galactus appearance

Doom didn't need to be in this movie, and Galactus shouldn't have been a cloud, but Oh well, it's Ok really just not great like it could have been.

@pyro200777 The surfer caried him into space causing him to pass out. There is no air in space so he couldn't breathe. Since he couldn't breathe, he passed out. Also his flames went out because flames need oxygen. Space = no air

@pyro200777 In reality you would pass out within 15 seconds like we see here. Then since there is no air pressure, your body fluids will quickly boil then freeze. Your tissues will then expand (not explode). You will change body temperature, be exposed to radiation by the sun, and dust particles with hit you in the face at high speeds. All in all, johnny storm AKA the human torch was only in space for a few seconds.

With this, it grants him near invulnerability and powers beyond our understand. It's been shown from comics Silver Surfer can survive even in the center of the Sun, let's see Superman do that...
