You gotta love how symbolic this trap is. Like the diseases that John and Brent's father had, the acid ate away at William's insides, causing him to die slowly and painfully. Unlike Saw V, this movie really knows what its doing. It got back into the groove of symbolism, morals,and learning from your mistakes;William was probably the only character who saw how pretentious he was on the inside and changed, which makes this ending even more emotional,and in my opinion,the best ending in the series.

To be honest I think this was probably one of the most realistic endings ever... if it were a real world situation im betting the EXACT same thing would happen. The mother wouldnt be able to do it but the kid acting out of rage, revenge and impulse would pull the level in an instant

Woah where did this ending come from? Cause the one I saw on the theater and the one on the blu ray is a bit different. The same thing happens but Hoffmans trap isnt activated until after William dies and Jill shuts the door. Shutting the door activated the trap not the kid pulling the lever. Also the music is different
