Same thing, the motor just pushes you. When towing you are being pulled. Flying the glider is the same. You will pick up towing or motoring in minutes.

But.. Being nutty isn't a bad thing. Sometimes you feel like a nut, and some times you don't.

3 people have hit the ground in the death spiral on units with that design. All 3 walked away unscathed. It's really not as bad as it looks if you have the skills and fly the right equipment. Especially in a foot of snow:).
