It is decieving I live at flatbush gardens.. If i had the cash i would move my family far away from there. the people are not the problem.. Management is misleading people with this ad. the real flatbush garden is full of rats and mice and roaches.. ceiling falling on you brown water falling on your head while in your bathroom. mold infested. and peeling paint and much more.. sewage in the basement and the workers have to work in there then come into our homes

I lived in Flatbush gardens for 2 1/2 yrs( yes I broke my lease) My number 1 problem was the mice in my apartment. I made several appointments for maintenace come put steel wool in the various openings around the apartment and they failed to do that. Maintenance is a big joke. I worked and took a day off for them to come and they never showed. Then when I called hey said they'd definitely come the next day. As far as how my place looked I think I got lucky because I had fairly new appliances

While I was in my hometown, my fiance picked this place out.I remind him about this everyday. We have been here for over a year and we absolutely hate it. We are both college students and needed a "decent" place to live.

This is a motherfuckin joke. i lived in VANDERVEER from 1980 - 1986 and my mo stayed there an additional 10 years after that. There was never no gardens when i was running through that mother fucker smokin weed, my man got shot on the Terrace(Foster ave) in 1985. That place is nortorious and this commercial is disgrace. I wonder if my old apartment looks like the commercial...NOT!!!

NYCHA never had anything to do with Vanderveer. Just Wiki NYCHA and you'll see all housing projects in NYC. The people in the Veer had an attitude problem. Like an old quote on the wall by Fort Greene (real projects I might add) in downtown BK says: the only difference bet. the projects and the Co-Ops is the attitude.
