@HesDaryl If you passed through pre-war Arias sleepover (in other words, where you are right now), then you are too late to get him in Disc 1. You can still get him in Disc 2, no matter what.
In Disc 2, there is no need to intentionally find him. Depending on what you did in Disc 1, he joins you in either the Castle Aquaria (if not met) or Surferio (if met and "Yes").

@HesDaryl Oops... I found out in other videos: Yes or No does not affect the outcome. In fact, once the scene shows up in Disc 1 before the war, Adray JOINS you. The Yes or No is a mere affect on relationships; Adray joins if met!
