Democracy is not life. Democracy is abusing one's freedom to gain dominion over anything in this world. And therefore, less fortunate ones suffered in such conformity.
A democracy is when people vote on everything. Do we? No, we have representatives and laws. Democracy is like anarchy, only it's mob rule.
If the majority of the population wants to kill a child, then under democracy that's fine. That's why we're a republic, because rights can be taken away.
If this country (the US) were a democracy we would still be subjects of England. of course that would be fine with most as their disdain for the 1st and 2nd amendments is rampant.
Freedom of speech unless your religious or anti-abortion or anti gay then it's hate speech.
This is the kind of airy-fairy, feel-good stuff I would expect from this "Challenge." As if there is any system of government that can make everybody Somebody! Making "democracy" into an idiotic religion is not going to help the world.
Good to see something positive on democracy. Although I believe it to be more of an illusion than reality here in the U.S., I still love my life here and know we got it better than most.
