As I expected the Titans beat the favored on the road 13-10 shutting them down defensively. Vince Young once againc comes through and is 9-5 as a starter. The Titans ran all over the Jags having their 2nd best running game in team history.The Titans opened the new season and 2nd year of the Vince Young era by winning and are 1-0.

I assume you are a Jags fan that is still sore over that you shut down Young yet the Jags still lost to the Titans. 2007 is the rise and return of the Titans to glory. Maybe you will feel different when Young leads the Titans to an upset victory one of their biggest rivals the Jags on the road. Like I said before, 9/9/07. Nobody in Jax is sore at all about that loss. It was a complete manhandling. The football gods were definately looking out for you. It just wasn't meant to be in Nashville that day. Admit it though, you were handed your asses except for the turnovers. Look what happened in Jax earlier in the season. If it weren't for the mercy points at the end of that game, it would have been another shut-out for the Jags. 37-7.

Ok first off the Jags offense couldn't do crap when ever the Titans got turnovers and took them all the way back for touchdowns so don't call them mercy points. The only turnover we didn't return was the last interception by Hill. Quit making exscuses the Jags lost the game plain and simple the defense was to much for them.

Nobody is talking about the second game. I was referring to the game earlier in the season. The 37-7 thumping at Alltel. As for the second game you are referring to, you won that fair and square. But look at the stats, you were manhandled. Less than 100 yards of offense!? Wow, you got that one though. Hopefully luck will prevail again for you on 9/9/07. I'll be there.

Only one stat matters at the end of the game. Thats the final score of the game and in the second game the Titans had the higher score. The Titans beat the Jags 24-17. Anyways the Titans won't need luck. This time you are playing Vince Young in his second game with with way more experience, and the Titans has developed, and plenty of people thinking the Titans will be bad and don't have a chance to win. Nothing new the Titans will beat the Jags.

I am a Baltimore Ravens fan, but I have great respect for the Titans. I miss not having the Titans in the Ravens division. In the early 2000's, the Ravens-Titans was the biggest rivalry. The teams hated each other, and coaches Brian Billick and Jeff Fisher hated each other even more. Since they have not been in the same division, they have met a few times. They met in the 2003-2004 playoffs, and that game was like a war. And, their 2006 game was like a war and close. Anyone agree with me?
