It took me about a year to get over the fact that there is a train in this game. After that I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did! It was a fantastic game.

Windwaker graphics oh my gosh! I want this game now. It is cool how Zelda makes beautiful graphics and toony graphics. So there is a variety. I like how they do that. Thumbs up if you agree! =)

legend of zelda: spirit tracks is a lot better! also try getting phantom hourglass, also in the zelda series- killing bellum is lots of fun, and you get a SHIP! WITH A CANNON! AND A SALVAGE ARM!

oh wow you can really see some of the early designs in the game. Zelda/phantom's orb is green and not pink, and the little pattern on the back isn't here either

I heard a lot of good things about Ocarina of Time, although I've haven't played that game before *doesn't own a Wii or N64*. But when I said "game quality" I meant everything about a game in general, from music to gameplay to storyline to overall fun, etc. I have no doubt Ocarina is a top quality game; I heard it set standards. I think it's coming out for the 3DS, though.

i recently beat this game, its nothing like the other games, especially the bosses, there not that easy where u figure out a patter and use it until they die, even if u find a patter in beating the bosses they are very hard, this game is worth the price and everything

@VOLVIGAI Actually in Ocarina of time hyrule has many inhabitents. In Windwaker & phantom hourglass however it is hyrules alliance to the tri-force causing the troubles.
@VOLVIGAI Yes, the envirnoment is way too plain and simple at times. It's understood that the cartoony style requires certain degree of simplification, but they overdid it at times.
i like how in tp they showed him being much more realistic, and more of a badass.
i mean windwaker was a nice break away and everything but its gotta stop now, games these days are becoming more and more realistic and originally The Legend Of Zelda was supposed to be a serious game and to me it feels like it would flourish and take on its true form as if portrayed more realisitically

Holy Crap , almos all the Zelda games are completely un-original!
First, Legend of Zelda, the Legend of Zelda II(sequel), A link to the past (prequel), orcarina of time is also a prequel(retelling a link to the past), Majora's mask is a sequel to Orcarina of Time, The Wind Waker is based on that but hundreds of years later, folowed by Phantom Hourglass and now Spirit Tracks. Minish Cap, four swords and adventures, are all prequels based on Orcarina of Time. Twilight Princess (sequel to OoT)...
techincally she's knocked out and her spirit follows link around. I suppose that yeah, she odes die, but since her spirit survives with link (sometimes with a phantom), i don't think it really counts.
I hope this game isnt as easy as hour glass. The controls just took me out of the game as well the stylus made it feel like link was following me rather than me controlling him. Hopefully they will have improved this but Ill probably wait till its on sale or a good 2nd hand copy comes out.
Can't wait for this game! Besides excellent gameplay, every Zelda game has been excellent at creating an engrossing atmosphere, be it the blue skies and white clouds over the oceans or the creepy dungeons. I know I will enjoy this game just as much as I enjoyed all the rest.

and im sure the age rating hasnt changed for this release, itsnot grand theft auto or saints row ffs, its a zelda game grow up, the game has to stay timeless, and murdering civillians gets old fast .
i think everybody should shut up about the game. yeah, it has a train. the idea's weird but you'll get used to it. and you shouldn't judge the game until you fully beaten the game. plus i doubt they're going to get more advanced with the technology from here; trains been around for 200 years as well as motor boats, and just regular boats have been around for a LONG time....i'm rambling on here but every zelda game to date has been epic, and hopefully this game won't let us down.
DUDE, screw OoT for the DS. It needs to come out for a system that can really do it justice. Re-do it, not necessarily any part of the story or mechanics, just the graphics, update it, make it feel real. COME ON PEOPLE...

I'd personally like to see a return to the graphical and gameplay style in OoT and MM. It may be technologically possible for Nintendo to re-create these styles on the DS given the work they did with Super Mario 64 DS.
Oh no... another Zelda like Phantom Ourglas no... I really love Zelda Games... but I hate the game play in this... Moving Link with the mouse (In my case xD)... I prefer with the clasic controls, it's faster... I like everything in this game... but not the game play...

my favorite zelda game has to be links awakening. its was original, didn't mess up the zelda timeline, and was so addictive, i still play it today on an original gameboy, in black and white. but to see spirit tracks, it looks like an exact copy of phantom hourglass. instead of a boat there a train, and all the dungeon graphics are the same. i don't think i'll be getting this one, i'd rather just beat links awakening again.

i like how in tp they showed him being much more realistic, and more of a badass.
i mean windwaker was a nice break away and everything but its gotta stop now, games these days are becoming more and more realistic and originally The Legend Of Zelda was supposed to be a serious game and to me it feels like it would flourish and take on its true form as if portrayed more realisitically

Holy Crap , almos all the Zelda games are completely un-original!
First, Legend of Zelda, the Legend of Zelda II(sequel), A link to the past (prequel), orcarina of time is also a prequel(retelling a link to the past), Majora's mask is a sequel to Orcarina of Time, The Wind Waker is based on that but hundreds of years later, folowed by Phantom Hourglass and now Spirit Tracks. Minish Cap, four swords and adventures, are all prequels based on Orcarina of Time. Twilight Princess (sequel to OoT)...

techincally she's knocked out and her spirit follows link around. I suppose that yeah, she odes die, but since her spirit survives with link (sometimes with a phantom), i don't think it really counts.

I hope this game isnt as easy as hour glass. The controls just took me out of the game as well the stylus made it feel like link was following me rather than me controlling him. Hopefully they will have improved this but Ill probably wait till its on sale or a good 2nd hand copy comes out.

Can't wait for this game! Besides excellent gameplay, every Zelda game has been excellent at creating an engrossing atmosphere, be it the blue skies and white clouds over the oceans or the creepy dungeons. I know I will enjoy this game just as much as I enjoyed all the rest.

no, she just moves her spirit into the phantom body and she can go bak 2 her body when u get out of a dungeon. thats wat i heard.

I really do not understand all the shit talking from people,
phantom hourglass had boats, and was for ages 7 and up,
I remember liking trains when i was 7..
and im sure the age rating hasnt changed for this release, itsnot grand theft auto or saints row ffs, its a zelda game grow up, the game has to stay timeless, and murdering civillians gets old fast .

i think everybody should shut up about the game. yeah, it has a train. the idea's weird but you'll get used to it. and you shouldn't judge the game until you fully beaten the game. plus i doubt they're going to get more advanced with the technology from here; trains been around for 200 years as well as motor boats, and just regular boats have been around for a LONG time....i'm rambling on here but every zelda game to date has been epic, and hopefully this game won't let us down.

DUDE, screw OoT for the DS. It needs to come out for a system that can really do it justice. Re-do it, not necessarily any part of the story or mechanics, just the graphics, update it, make it feel real. COME ON PEOPLE...

ok sorry but this game looks crappy the train is just one step to modern for zelda and if this is suppossed to be a sequel to ph which was a sequel to ww is this like 100 years into the future or right after and if it is a squel where is htere and island big enough for tracks unless hyrule is all dried up from wind waker

I'd personally like to see a return to the graphical and gameplay style in OoT and MM. It may be technologically possible for Nintendo to re-create these styles on the DS given the work they did with Super Mario 64 DS.

Spirit Tracks is set in the new land the King told Link and Zelda to find at the end of The Wind Waker.
It's not actually the old Hyrule dried up. In fact I'm not even sure it's called Hyrule...

UM Link was not born in the 1800's. This looks fun but I dont wanna ride the gay train to Boy Georges house to get butt r@ped. Nintendo just send Link to get butt raped, WTF!! my favorite zelda game has to be links awakening. its was original, didn't mess up the zelda timeline, and was so addictive, i still play it today on an original gameboy, in black and white. but to see spirit tracks, it looks like an exact copy of phantom hourglass. instead of a boat there a train, and all the dungeon graphics are the same. i don't think i'll be getting this one, i'd rather just beat links awakening again.

The only Zelda games I have not played and beat was "The Legend of Zelda", "Zelda II: The adventure of Link" and "Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening", as far as I know, I don't know any Hero's Shade or whatevar o.o
