  • Christine in 80's looks is better that

    in her young years.Finally she

is looking as a beautiful woman.

  • @evie1942 i meant "than"

  • Love this record. Lindsay, Stevie and Christine were pure magic...ahh! thank you for the memories!

  • play Christine then ,, Dumb JOAN!

  • NOW THATS A GUITAR!

  • I served John McVie drinks in St Thomas Virgin Islands when I bartended at Sapphire resort. I watched the 1984 Super bowl at his house at Sapphire Beach. Oakland beat the Redskins. He was a really nice guy, seemed a little sad though at the time. Great band for decades.

  • @TheOlderangel Wow, that is so cool

  • great to find an interview with John in it

  • I believe John is a much better bassist than Lindsey has allowed for him sometimes. Christine has incredible melodies and a lovely voice. And I have to say, there's something hot about her too!

  • @marguitar1

Everyone knows John is a kickass bassist. I don't think Lindsey held him back in anyway. I mean listen to a song like Dreams - the bass on that song is front and center. If FM is known for anything its their deep bass sound. I actually think Lindsey's playing is so restrained, maybe too much so.

  • @sluv2600 I have to agree with you 100%. Mcvie is basically the reason I started playing bass so many years ago. I have now played for 30 years and I still can't quite get the sound that John could put out. I agree with you that FM always had that strong backbone bass, constantly pounding. I love his playing in the song "Over my head"

  • "when you come together with four tried and trusted other musicians, you feel like you've got a strong shoulder to lean on"

cut to the guy who then left the band. Nicely done...

  • Thanks for posting. Always a lot of emphasis on Nicks, Buckingham, (love them, but....) nice to see John say a thing or two!

  • John McVie did release a solo CD called John McVie's Got A Band with Lola Thomas.

  • if your on facebook, search: 'i love christine mcv ie!'

  • man what are you talkin about average? this guy is just a terrific bass player, one of the greatest to come from Britain...

He's got a heavy bottom end always grinding and growlin and very lyrical

I would place him right there with Entwistle, McCartney, & Jones ANY DAY!

  • have to agree 100% john is awesome

  • wth are you talking about? nobody in America talks like that...
