  • Hi is there a way to make this side bar relative to my page? I don't want it at the edge of the page or off-set from the side. I'd like it to run along the edge of my content which is centred with a fixed width.

  • @RetroAges you can control the postition of the x and y axis in the javascript file.

  • @DreamWeaverTutorial Isn't that just relative to the top left of the page? If I resized my page wouldn't it stay in the same place relative to the window (and not to the content?)

  • @RetroAges You could put the code for the menu into a div surrounding your wrapper and make that position: relative and it will no longer attach to the widow of your browser.

  • How can I make premium account to my site? So when a user signs up, he will be asked: what type of account do you want to have? And insert there: normal, premium, power, gold, platinum and lifetime. How to create a script for that? I have 1 SQL database. I want to create for each type of account the time that they have that type of account. After that the account will downgrade itself to the normal type. I want the users that have premium accounts to be able to download files from my website.

  • Is there a way to insert this one on my wordpress page? (tiagonunes.us) - I want to change it to a google adsense adbar, and I want it to stay aside the main slide, but I don't want the bar to mess with the other page elements, when I reduce the window size. Is that possible???????????????????????????????????????

    Thanks in advance! =)

  • @TIAG0NUNES to unit attaches to your browser window so wherever the browser edge is, you will find the floating side bar. You can move it away from the browser windo using the x and y axis.

  • #sidebar { Position: Fixed; Left: 0; Top: 50; background: #FFFFFF; border: 2px solid #0886c5; width: 60px; z-index: 2; } Just make a Div tag, ID = sidebar Before the closing div tag, Add any anchor tag you wish :) TADA!
  • @bobsmith that's the standard css way to create it but it won't animate and that's the whole point of this tutorial as well as creating a social networking widget with rollover buttons using dreamweavers swap image behavior

  • @DreamWeaverTutorial True sir, your tut was great; just thought i'd put the basic code for those who are just after it. :)
