Man I got this Video on VHS and im about to get a LOVE tattoo, because it represents how misunderstood skateboarders are and it is something that only a true skateboarder could understand. Another thing, Robert Indiana, the dude who designed the LOVE park sculpture has an amazing story behind his design:bhow he was ridiculed by the art community for being a sell out, when in fact he didn't get rich off of his design and he is still virtually unrecognized for his work.

And why would they stop you skating it? Doesn't seem much of a problem and when you get a offer from DC ( Wasn't it like 10 million or something?) why do people say R.I.P. Love Park? i flew out to Philly from South Florida to skate Love on Halloween weekend of 2008. there must have been at least 50 skaters there that saturday night before we all got chased out by cops. Love Park is very alive in my opinion

LOVE is still there, just not in it's full entirety. Kerry Getz still skates there frequently. He was just there the other day and I saw him and a few guys get kicked out.

I guess it's true, America hates action sports (especially skateboarding). And if they didn't, then why is it still illegal and why are there so little parks and so little communities willing to allow parks to be built? Just my 2 cents.

Yes, Love Park is still there. When they are talking about it being "Taken down", they city added a bunch of planter boxes and put grass in certain area's. It's still VERY skateable and still illegal.

People dont understand how big difficult this gap is compared to gaps like Carlsbad and el Toro. Ur 100% right. I oleyed it last night. This gap is insane. I went there expecting a hardflip. This gap Is sooo long like soo long. And the cops spray the ground now with this stuff now to make the ground wet and after I got kicked out we came back and the cops broke glass and put it inside the fountain so the next guy to try a trick (or an oley) would get cut up.
