if you had lockers at 2:25 in the vid you could of made that climb at 4:58 you can see that you dont have a front locker if thats a 6 clynder /auto you have 3.53 gears give me 1 day 3k i can make any xj look like that i would have bought lockers and gears better axles before wasting money on a winch and bumper flares remember performance before accessories

I'm not sure why people complain about him going off the trail in middle TN we all go off trails and that's how we get new ones. If people close down trails where you are because someone goes off a trail then it's not real offroading it's following someone in their tire ruts. Nobody closes trails here we make new ones.

Within the last 4 years more trails have been closed in the county than in the last 20 years!!!!! If people dont catch on and stop we wont have 4wd areas for our children and grand children to use.

I got XJ project i am working on and I can't decide between 33s and 35s. I believe to do 35s I would have to upgrade more than stock, so 33s but thinking about gearing it 4.88 with 4.5 re lca lift. so that way if i ever wanted to go bigger I could but then again why gear stock axles/diff to 4.88 when they can't handle 35s. Decisions, decisions decisions.

I have an 89 renix XJ, I regeared mine to 4.56 and it runs great no probs. 8.5" rough country with 35" 30/35 with CV joints in the front not u-joint and I wheel mine hard and haven't broke anything.

If you wheel it right you can run 35" no prob i have been for almost 2 years now
