maybe the reason they add some things to the movie because they wanted it to look more cooler. The book wasn't long enough and maybe they wanted to make it more action packed. Actually its the fifth book, but the third movie. The books: The Magician's Nephew, The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe, the horse and his boy, Prince Caspian, and finally the Voyage of the dawn Treader. :)

Actually they do mention her name. In the first movie when she's arriving to the camp to make the deal with Aslan. The dwarf says it, he announces her name.

Caer is right. They added a ton of dramatization to Prince Caspian, and I am sure Dawn Treader will be no different. I don't remember them ever mentioning Jadis's name in the films, either. (The White Witch), I really, really, REALLY hope they make The Silver Chair and I REALLY hope they don't use the same actress for the Green Lady as they did for the White Witch.

aww...I'm glad they're making this movie, but it makes me sad b/c Edmund and Caspian don't fight at all in the book - as far as I can remember. Anyone remember? They keep casting Caspian as kind of immature, and that makes me really sad. He's so nobly kingly in the book. But I guess it's hard to tell the context of this clip.

It is... this could either be a playful fight/swordplay practice, or it could be them really fighting... and actually, Caspian and Edmund do fight during the book, just not with swords! There are several instances where they disagree and the arguments nearly end in blows- at Deathwater island, or when deciding who will go to Aslan's country at the end of the book. They could be just putting a little more drama into scenes like those!

It's Prince Caspian, and actually, in the book, Caspian and Edmund did get in a fight. Just not with swords.

Well he was Prince Caspian but at the end of the book Prince Caspian Aslan finds that Caspian is worthy to be king now and no longer a prince. and thats why me and the fans will refere to him in VDT as King Caspian and NOT Prince Caspian!
