OMG I LOVE DON BLUTH FILMS <3 I never liked Disney that much because most of their princesses or female lead roles were/are blondes but Don Bluth among other various film artists back then completely shattered that stereotype. This is a very sad story, but has a happy ending. Everybody wanted something from Thumbelina. Everybody wanted to use her for something. Everyone except her mother, cornelius and that bird wanted something. Nobody loved her for real except those 3. Nobody helped her out of pure kindness but out of selfishness. The world tried to use her and separate true love and all she ever wanted was HIM. All she wanted was to be with him.
