The threat and fear for Israel is that a nuclear Iran cannot be easily terrorised and bullied. Iran is reacting to intense provocation and international sanction, it is trying to protect itself in the only way it feels it can.

This video was a well-done piece of campaign propaganda, but Ike wasn't faced with a nuclear Iran threatening its neighbors. Somebody needs to check how Ike responded when China threatened Taiwan: he wasn't a Ron Paul-style appeaser. I don't like any of the GOP candidates, and I despise Bush & Obama. But being an ostrich like Ron Paul is an overreaction. Israel isn't the only nation threatened by Iran. Grow up.

AIPAC is regarded as the most powerful lobby in the US today and it results in the US getting bilked out of inordinate amounts of money for a very tiny country resulting in several million people getting several billion dollars in financial aid every year. Ike wasn't faced with a nuclear Iran and nobody else is either; Ike was faced with a nuclear USSR threatening not its neighbors but the United States.

I agree with Ron Paul on everything! RP2012! And beyond. Bring home the troops. Let these other countries spend money on their own defense. If someone wants to come here and challenge us, so be it, we'll have something waiting for them. If we do have to go there to handle a problem, go the the people's house ( Congress) and declare war, take it to the enemy full force, win and get back home. We set that kind of precedent and the challengers wither away.

If Ron Paul gets nominated by the GOP, he will get the votes of the Libertarian Party, Constitution Party, Independent voters, and some democrats backing him. If Romney gets nominated, he will not get the 3rd party votes nor the independent and democrat vote resulting in a second term for Obama. Think about it...

Very true...everyone that argues about Foreign Policy is an absolute idiot...its a moot point bc we can't afford it anyways so it will come to an end with either the destruction of our currency or we withdraw. I would rather NOT destroy our currency so we can TRY to avoid the NAU.
