i was at the olympia as well, it wasn't their sound, they are better in small venues, great band check them out at a wet paint gig not a bloc party gig
Saw these last nite supporting bloc party and foals.....no body give them a chance due to the great line up of foals + bloc party!........but they obviously made an immpression on me due to i am youtubing them the day after! woop go wet paint
Wet paint are fab..have such enthusiasm especially the busty drummer she rocks! I saw them supporting Bloc Party 1 Feb at Wolverhampton and I agree with Bonfire Tommy Sparks were well poor in comparison.
saw them supporting bloc party the other week. thought they were really good - i have no idea why they were the first band on because the main support band were fucking awful - should have swapped them around :(
i met the singer and the drummer lastnight when they supported bloc party at the carling academy.. i got a picture with them.. it was their first gig out of london :)
Cant believe it, i had a band called wet paint 20 years ago here in Glasgow. we lasted about 6 years and did the london thing went all round the record companies and all that. we thought that name was good because back 20 years ago the council painted the bus stops every year and put wet paint signs all over it so free advertising, Great stuff :-)
this is pretty good. i like! my bands called wet paint. going to have to change it now! cant have two london bands called wet paint. oh well, this is awesome and so is save the whale. keep it up man!
Haha, what an awesome video. I admit to watching those types of instructional video's every time I feel I want to expand on my strumming. But then I'm always immediately turned off by the drab, '80s porno esthetics of it all, not to mention the music they play. I've always wondered why so many accomplished guitar players have such horrendous taste in music, primarily '80s hair metal. I digress. Love the song, love the video, thanks.
It's a slightly modified Mosrite... Someone put funny coloured dots in the inlays and may have even swapped the neck from another Mosrite according to the guy in the shop!
Way Pavement-liciousnessesque!

When was this video made?
frumpey 3 years ago
It was made in July 2008 - but we tried to make it look like it was made in the early nineties.....
