  • I know that pillow rollers are slightly different from sponge rollers but could this look be achieve using sponge rollers?

  • I loooove this look on you,you look so elegant and pretty :)

  • Love your makeup in this. Is it similiar to one of the tutorials you've done on puttin' on the face?

  • @StellaSweetBurlyQ Just traditional 1940s makeup..Try my Ginger ROgers tutorial in the Starlet Series but use red lips.

  • Beautiful as always love the red jacket and white gloves on you very classy!!!

  • @lisafreemonttreet thank you for the suggestions! i've tried a version of the rocketeer hair style using a wetset inspired by yer tutorials and it came out not too bad for a first timer. i finally got to watch the jessica rabbit tutorial and will definitely try that approach! i love all your tutorials and am jealous of the short hair, it's tooooo cute!

  • u look adorable

  • Perhaps a silly question...are sponge rollers the same the those pillow rollers? Where do you buy rollers like the ones you are using?

  • Your hair looks so healthy and shiny!

  • <3

  • You really suit your midi. :)

  • You look marvelous!

    I have a few questions

    1. If you don't have a dryer about how long would you suggest to wait?

    2. Could I use a blow dryer if I cover my hair with a cloth or bandana?

    3. Why water down the grooming spray?

I bought one from you a while back but I'm not too sure on the details...

    Thanks! Lovely video -3 it!

  • This is one of my favourite tutorials so far... It reminds me of photos of my Gran when she was young during WWII. <3

  • I would love to see a whole I Love Lucy look. It would look so fab on you.

  • I think short hair suites you better but I miss your long hair tutorials :(

  • What is your grooming spray/water ratio?

  • Cute! I have these rollers & they are the best! Thank you :)

  • Crazy great do ... love the vintage looks!

  • You look great in red!!!

On another subject, can you make another baking video??

  • @vgfigue It will be a while. I am doing a history series next and it will be all I do for a couple of months. Perhaps in the summer. :)

    Ashley

  • Did you buy those pillow rollers at Ross? I have the same ones and that's where I got mine hahaha ;p

  • @adg135 Ulta. :)

  • That last picture in black and white is pretty enought to take your breath away! Your skin is looking absolutely flawless.

  • @ladydove0912 It's called photo editing. haha But thanks! :)

  • My two favorite vintage gurus together!? I know both of you had mentioned collaborations coming but never had I imagined you'd work together. Great work!

  • I've never been into vintage so much until I came across your videos. Now its my obsession :). Your absolutley beautiful aswell.

  • I absolutely love the 40's 50's style!(: -33 I would love to dress like that in a daily basis !^-^ but I'm no bueno at making my hair look this amazing!

  • I absolutely adore your videos!! You make these styles seem so easy!!

  • I ADORE this 'do!!

  • Fabulous! As always it turned out so cute that it makes me want to cut my hair shorter! It was so much fun doing this collab with you...a big thank you, you are amazing! :D

  • Your hair is sooooo cute! Love all your tutorials! I have longer hair, bout to mid back... Are there tutorials of yours that would cover longer hair? Btw, where did u get those pillow rollers?

  • @ewoklynn My hair has been all different lengths...please look back thru my videos. :) Jessica Rabbit, Veronica Lake, and Jennifer Conelly 'Rocketeer' hairstyles have all been featured.

  • What do you do for the 30 minutes you're under the dryer? Also, what is the difference between a curl made with a pillow roller & one made into an elevated pincurl?

  • @tkmaz read...the curls made w/ these are silkier than pin curls usually.

  • cute! it almost reminds me of Wynonna Rider's hair in Great Balls of Fire...maybe because you had Jerry Lee playing in the begining! :)

  • This turned out lovely, Lisa! I love it.

  • :( i have too much hair

  • @crimsionprincess88 Easy fix...cut and thin. ;-)

  • @LisaFreemontStreet, Thank you dear! Are they the "Wrap, Snap, & Go" brand?

  • @jamiekinsx No, they're 'hot tools' soft touch rollers. Less than 6.00 and the picture on the front is NOT a good representation of what these do. LOL

  • @LisaFreemontStreet Oh! Awesome! Thanks for letting me know! :3

  • Where did you get those cute soft pillow rollers?! :D

  • @jamiekinsx Ulta. :)

  • @jamiekinsx

I just bought them at Ulta. They are super cute!

  • what is the grooming spray and how does it work better than just dampening your hair with water?

  • @bellajenna87 More hold. Watered down grooming spray...not full strength.
