@versionsofbliss I think shes talking about happiness, grace, fullfillment that would not come ... no matter how many things she trys...all those things she does,,,it wont come. No matter how much shes drinks, has sex, shops, etc.....i can relate a lot to this song unfortunately :/

I love this song. This album is underrated. Alanis, is underrated. She does what she wants and doesn't care about the labels people have for her.

It's a shame there are still people who consider her an angry girl rocker. She never was one to begin with. She's got a ton of depth about her and her music is godly.

Completamente de acuerdo, sobre todo con la parte en que mencionás que sirvio como filtro selectivo... supongo que no todos pudieron asimilar muy bien este disco (sino mira las ventas en comparacion con el JLP) lo cual para nada significa que tenga menos valor, sino por el contrario. Stupid comment. She's from Ottawa, Canada a large city in North America. And two she's an independent musician with a flair for oriental/eastern things so she doesn't dress like a quaker. Alanis is the best.
