im just thinking but if he eventually stopped going back into the hole, would he end up stopping right in the middle? and if he did, would he like get crushed in all directions?
"And items like this, that are portrayed all over, in all media. Is what in turn has caused a dumbing down of the world. Which is on purpose. So the elite can control us more like sheep just like the old days of peasant and kings."
What does this have to do with theory and physics? Why do you say things that aren't pertinent to the conversation? Your just making planting arguments it seems. Back on topic. If you don't like easy to understand theory so much why even watch NOVA? Bigbang!
It strikes me as odd that God can say "thou shall not kill" and say that loves everyone, but at the same time be fine with his creations (whom he loves) killing each other when a fallible, self ordained to a position of power person deems it to be necessary. Especially when God ofers on guidelines to making these judgements. Perhaps I'm too young to make sence of these contradictions.
rondus do not bother debating theology with this man. Have you looked at his page. He is set in his ways and might never change. There are enough people that believe in him and his "mission" that he assumes the position of minister and teacher. It's obvious he has an agenda and since you have not complied then do not expect him to be reasonable. Think about it, he has called himself a minister over and over again when we never asked nor was it called for. Nobility comes in action, not words.
What they've done is talk about something (pepetual motion) but not tell you what that something was. They show you a hypothetical application of the "thing" and leave it to you to think about it. If you were receptive to the video you think about how and why this would work the way it works. You then think about where it exists like planets endlessly revolving around the Sun without slowing down, Electrons pepetualy revolving around nuclei in atoms.
Well even if that sentence about God being the only one who judge is wrong, my other two still stand. And I think God should be the only one to judge. You say I'm too young, but how do you know that? My channel says I'm 20, are judging me by that? Well I'm not 20 I'm 18. While that makes me even younger it still shows that you made a judgement on wrong information, a mistake God wouldn't have made.
"...morals that America was built on." What I said has shown a lack of morals to you? I think it's easy to see who is being judgmental here. Do I owe you some gratitude for being an "elder, and a minster"? I'm going to be old some day and I don't wish for someone to pacify me because of it. I want people to be honest and try to be logical. And is my status as a farmer any less valuable or respectable than a ministers? If there is a chip on your shoulder that is not my fault.
If it was an hour long I would have thought NOVA to be going down hill. But just a few minutes to learn a new idea about gravity is not bad tv. I think your preaching to the wrong crowd about "people are so dumbed down". I would not be watching this and subscribing to mostly education and news channels if I'm some dumb down shiny bead chaser. Keep quiet now Buck.
They are just trying to give use some insight on perpetual motion by using an example we are familiar with because we thought about this question as kids. If you remove all things that would disturb your motion and the thing accelerating you were pepetual then you would theoreticaly achieve pepetual motion, is what they're saying.
Whatever episode that was from must have already aired, because I saw this awhile ago. Very interesting. I like the little bits NOVΛ Science Now does.
It's not that bad. Of course it's theory(just means they cannot test it). But they know physics like you know how to leave seemingly smart comments on youtube.
When my cousins and I were very young we thought we were digging a hole to China. How funny to think of that now.

If you drilled one end of the hole on top of a mountain, and in a valley on the other end, you should be able to pop out of the hole.

What do you mean when you say "video:" and "ron:"?
And "'s" shows possession you meant "smartasses" and even if you meant to use an ' you should have said "smartass'"
I point this out not to be a jerk, but to show you that just because you're an old minister doesn't mean you're right.

I just Googled Romans 13:4.

You're not getting the point of the video.

That was exactly 500 characters. YouTube needs to let us type more.

I couldn't agree more. It's hard to have a discussion!

You're very rude and judgmental for a minister. Isn't God the only one who can judge?
And don't hide behind the fact that you're a minister, you can't win arguments that way.

I meant gravity as an example. Most things in science are theories.
rondus18 3 years ago
Gravity is a theory. Most things NOVΛ talks about are, what would you have them do?
rondus18 3 years ago
That was incredibly interesting, I can't wait for this episode.
