I was hooked the first time I heard "Banditos" on the radio in the mid 90's . My band covered just about every tune on this album back in '99. Our rhythm guitarist sang it perfect.

Got this album when I was in the service back in 97 or 98 can't remember. A guy gave it to me who was gonna throw it away. He said have it. Never heard of these guys before but gave them a try and LOVED it. Started playing it in the barracks all the time, he comes up one day and says "hey you got that album I gave you, I want it back them guys are good." I said get bent. Now one of my favorite all time bands. GREAT MUSIC. Every song is pure gold. PERIOD

@crazyheart1976. I got this album as a backhanded gift too. I was working in a counrty clun in NY and some DJ came to play golf gave the staff a bunch of cd's, it was my day off and this was the only CD no one wanted so they saved it for me. I had seen Banditos on some video show and was going to buy the cd but forgot about it completely until I got it fro free. I've bought it at least 5 times since either as a replacement or as a gift.

One of my favorite memories; and I mean a moment so full that you carry it with you for your whole life was being in the desert at Rocky Point in October, of (I think it was) 2003. I was with the friend who turned me on to the Refreshments in the '90's, and RCPM started playing Nada. We were drinking warm tequila from the bottle and tearing limes open with a Swiss Army knife that was too dull to cut. About halfway through the song, it started to rain, and I swear that god was in every drop.

This video is PERFECT! I loved the slow close up on the CD cover during the intro. This just brought to life the images I've had in my head from the very first time I heard the song. (Especially the orange pickup truck. Every time he sings that line, that's what I see.) You should be very proud of this. Hit the "Like" button, and favorited it! Excellent work.

It's hard to find a hard copy of "Wheelie". Every once in a blue moon you used to be able to find one in Zia, but they've gotten to be too valuable. I see them going for up to $600 on ebay from time to time. If you'll give me your e-mail, I can send you the mp3 of it (I think).
