Slow worms eat insects and invertabrates. Its not a snake and doesnt have the ability to dislocate its jaw. Although maybe im wrong and thats why my cat went missing.

So, slow worms are legless lizards! I have NEVER heard of such a thing. However, last year, I put out a pan of beer, which drowned 15 slugs of all sizes...I think I'd rather have a slow worm in my garden....Here in Oregon, slugs are the bane of gardens.
