guys this still works thx to updates heres how to do it step 1.go scout with bonk atomic punch 2. drink bonk and than run to an edge and taunt while running 3.make sure u fall off the edge while taunting and than u will be able to run around while taunting thumbs up so ppl can see this

Switching weapons and taunting isn't patched. (found that out accidentally yesterday). If you switch weapons right after taunting, you'll taunt with another weapon. I don't know if jumping still works though.. Can someone confirm that?

@zinodikudu That's true, and it's been that way for a long time.

Running taunts still work, but you have to fall off a platform's edge to do it. i.e Run towards a ledge, taunt, and you should slide off onto a lower floor, and it has the same effect as running taunts.

I found that out when i was playin TF2 on the orange box. (xbox 360)

a demoman was taunting in front of me and he was doing the bottle taunt when he switched out to the grenade launcher. lol

I can also be taken advantage of in the case of the Heavy Weapons Guy (his official name) and the Pyro.

- The Pyro flings a firebomb, and while running, that would be insane.

- In the case of another HWG, they taunt at the same time, and pretend to have fake guns. Fake guns that can kill each other. Now try moving like that.

@Narudude360 That has never worked. Killing players by doing the running taunt with the pyro shotgun was the first thing we tried, and it never killed anyone, even standing at point blank range.

Two things:

There were 0 unlocks at the time.

The animation was the only thing to play, so even if the running taunts still worked (which they should), you couldn't taunt-kill or recover health, or gain any benefits from the gameplay-changing items.

You can still do it now by taunting JUST as you run off an edge, so you fall off the edge while taunting...

I suppose this CAN be exploited by doing things like taunting with one weapon and using another. But it's too much fun to remove :D

yes it still works, you just run of a step.. so if you fall down while taunting(run towards a corner and taunt) you get back in 1st person but still taunting

Well it kinda works. You need to taunt and fall of some kind of ledge the taunt will continue but you go back to first person and you're able to move and shoot.
