The ad's are not so much against anti-depressants as they are pro Scientology. Scientology views the practice of Psychiatric medicine as a form of competition. In this sense, these ad's are like most other ad's, i.e. beer ads are not about hanging with your friends or having fun etc.... Beer ad's are about selling beer, everything else is a distraction. The same holds for any other ad. The real question is "What are they really selling?". Everything else is just a distraction.
