very true! credit of most of sumanji's songs, both hindi and marathi went to lataji. and Sumanji never complained about it. Sumanji was recently interviewd at Kanatak Sangh where she did not utter a single word about politics or injustice. She also sang. A great soul!

As kids, we used to say that she sang

while eating sugar. She may not be as versatile as Lata or Asha but I have still not heard sweeter voice than hers. Such songs were made for her and she sang them to perfection.
