The answer to the Dems question is simple. You cut taxes to give the citizens the power to put their money where they want it, not where the government wants it. When a capitalist economic system is put in place, companies with good management, that produce good products, that people actually want can be sold amongst us and throughout the world. From that people will have jobs which leads to wealth. When America is wealthy we are able to fund our military.

He was governor of California twice, President of the United States twice. He correctly called the Soviet Union and "evil empire" and oversaw it's collapse. The answer to the Dems question is simple. You cut taxes to give the citizens the power to put their money where they want it, not where the government wants it. When a capitalist economic system is put in place, companies with good management, that produce good products, that people actually want can be sold amongst us and throughout the world. From that people will have jobs which leads to wealth. When America is wealthy we are able to fund our military.

Released Soviet document clearly indicate that they were afraid of the Reagan administration. His "star wars" program threatened to upset the balance and the COMMUNISTS couldn't compete. Socialism is when the government controls a majority of, but not all of, the country's economy and utilities. Also, a socialist government does not use brutal force, like Communism does, and the leader is democratically elected. Lets see: Democratically elected leader, check, more government involvement in Medicare and Welfare, check, government bailing out the biggest companies, basically giving them money..check. The Reagan State made it very clear that it simply would not enforce the law, so that was carte blance to employers to just carry out criminal actions. Like I said before if you will just listen, read, and do your research. The top 1% of the richest people in America will have higher taxes. Not us. That tax money will trickle down and benefit the rest of us as it is beginning to do no. Im a construction worker, and theres millions just in infrastructure, thousands of jobs in my state alone. In theory it sounds great right, tax the rich and the middle class profits and all is well. But let me tell you what will really happen that those in this administration will not ever say and that is the rich in the long run wont be paying as much as you think. If they get slapped with a tax increase do you really believe they are going to just take it? I can all but guarantee you they will either be laying off personnel or raising the price of their products to compensate for their losses.
