haha this one is during the final battle, saga series always have some tough final bosses...with multiple forms...during that battle i thought the final boss would just go on and on forever, like one of the saga frontier 1 character's ending...that was sad ending. This song is def beautiful and very epic

@OneTrueBelmont The resolution is really low. Look at SupraDarky's "Best VGM 1030 - SaGa Frontier II - Weltall" and you can view it in 1080p. And yeah, eyeshadows are a bit extreme. :)

@timbo22475 my explination: it was showed to me by a person who, in the past, showed me other music he thought was awesome. it was final area/boss music from xenogears, so when he showed this to me, I assumed it was xenogears, I even told him i though it was something like Xenogears/saga/whatever this actually was, and he told me what it really was. I'm an RPG person, but more of a final fantasy guy than anything, sorry for the confusion.

It was hard to decide between this song and Obsession from the soundtrack as both were amazing. Masashi Hamauzu always did good work with the soundtracks, it's just a shame that some of the games that he composed for kinda sucked (Unlimited SaGa for example).

lol, I actually bought Unlimited Saga because I heard the music on youtube. It's an okay game, you really have to be hardcore to learn it, others just don't want to put in the time to learn it. I personally will play it just for the music.

Be thankful he's supposively drafted for FF XIII versus and FF XIII period to be the composer from what rumors say. So expect beautiful music along with great gameplay.

The Egg is the hardest boss in the game. That fight is a Marathon of survival.

Beast Lord is second hardest, though a smart player wouldn't fight him.

Also, I would rate Saga Frontier IIs soundtrack incredibly high. Additionally, the water color backgrounds and hand drawn sprites were beautiful. Aesthetically, it's difficult to top this game.

I remember that two of the Elemental Lords were harder than the final boss. Water and Firelord are the hardest.

Water lord was really easy. Same with fire lord it's just that fighting both of them really weakened your team up for the other boss fights.

The Egg... If you are going to defeat this Boss.. then you must have defeated his "Elemental Lords" or else.. you will have hard time defeating him.. Because he will summon the undefeated "elemental lords' " spirit and have different techniques.. One of the deadliest skills the Egg can have is the Ancient Curse.. It can Petrify your characters in a flash.

I never got to the final boss. I almost did, but found that i could not complete the game: i had left Will with the anti-petrification armor, and it was the only one I had. A certain boss used an all party petrify 100% accuracy, and I had saved it after Will had left. Game over..

this game takes so long to just get to the main storyline that after i played it the first time, i just pulled up stepmania on my computer and tried to pull off mad moon sonata. i phailed. horribly. but still, a good song.
