But it has really lost all quality since then. Now they really seem to just copy other, better prepared programs that do more research - because "Galileo" doesn't seem to bother with research anymore. They have told their viewers that the moon is a planet, explained that you have to polish CDs in
a certain way, because otherwise you might "shift the data out of place" and they explained that a compass "points north" because there is so much iron at the north pole. That and the fact that they only ever show one side of an argument, always leaving out any and all critisism makes it a really detestable show. And these days a lot of their material consists of "reviewing" products of companies which pay the network for advertisemnt, portraying advertisment claims as scientific facts.
I HATE Woghd, i really hate what they have done. They use this $25000 thing to try and lend credibility to their "methods" by making people think if they are offering $25000 to anyone that can show it's something rational "and if that's real then it means everything else is real too" (Ghost Dog Debunked comment, i was in hysterics when those comments were read out in those voices).

at first the show was pretty much just about historical facts like "Who was Caesar". But soon it was turned into Galileo Mystery, wich actually ranked 1st on web(dot)de's "Top 10 Worst TV Shows" cause of its use of higly disbelievable actors that are supposed experts, psychics etc.
