Okay, I'm about to lose my head, seriously.

Does anyone else remember EXTREMELY early beta screen shots (and I think even a short video) of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes? I seem to remember it having a ghost space pirate, or chozo ghost, or something like that. I can't find the pics anywhere.
