Constructive Critisiscm: I must say that it is quite good for animation of that style, but I would think it could be nicer if their eyes moved a little more. Such as when the cheeseburger got stolen, maybe he could have looked down at his hands in confusion.

Honestly, you got your characters well-done,

you need more movement like a walking animaiton, moving arm animation instead of just moving the picture,

good voices for funny characters,

For a beginning cartoon I don't think all too much character movement is necessary, like other people seem to be suggesting. Later on certainly, but for now there are two things I would focus on: Eye movement (make characters look at who they're talking to, even if their body remains in the same position) and adding a couple frames into certain movements, like the eating. It's just 2 different mouths flicking back and forth. Add an extra 'middle' mouth to make a more natural movement.

I think you did good for a beginner...but like they said as you go along make sure your characters have movement....different scenery...but you will learn this as you go...stay confident in your self and believe in your self and you will accomplish everything....you will have negative and positive, but learn from the negative and feel good about yourself with the positive...you can do it...take care

Characters don't move, just a lip sync does not make a good animation. Give more enphasis to movement, make your characters move to the camera and from the camera, create some interest with different angles and shots. There are a lot of good animation on youtube you can learn with .Study Chuck Jones, Dick Williams, Ken Harris and a lot of great animators.Good Luck!

Well... I will not comment on the humor because to each their own. As for the video itself... just as one of the other viewers commented, it has no life to it. Animate the background, have the characters move more than just their mouths because even when someone is standing still... other than a muffin, they move their head, arms, sway, blink, etc.. change the camera angle up a bit too. Anyways, good luck.

@hvillin As in, this isn't animation. It doesn't demonstrate any of the principles of animation and has zero life to it. It's humorous, and it gets its point across. But when simply said, this isn't animation, it's just stuff moving on a screen and barely moving at that. The most movement you have are motion tweens and some amateur lip syncing. Animation is about the movement and the believability, and this has neither.

@hvillin Look at cartoons and animation out there right now. Does this move like they do? Would you believe that these characters are real based on their construction and the way they move? Or do they just look like cardboard cut outs with flappy mouths? To be honest, Your drawing skills are seriously lacking and you've got a really long way to go if you want to produce quality animation. It takes years of study and practice to become really, really good in the animation field.

@MollytheLookout If you want a quick run down of how you can start to get better, act out the actions you want your character to do. Actually ACT IT OUT YOURSELF and then try to copy how you moved and make your characters move that way. It takes a LOT of drawing and a lot of practice, but it's a start. ACT IT OUT.

@hvillin it's not animated. that's why it's not animation. it's talking stills basically. animation is movement - bringing characters to life. if you don't feel like selling this as animation, at least work on the appeal of the characters. also, i suggest you look up the 12 principles of animation, and work that into your show.

search for flash cartoons on youtube - the popular ones - and observe what they have done. keep at it man, rome wasn't build in a day. :) you can do it!
