  • i have a maxxis 31 with 70 -80 lb limbs that ive had for about 7 months or so and after i would shoot about 20 times i would here a click about a 1/4 way into my draw i thot it was my arrow rest but i took it off and it still does it, it sounds like its coming from my lower cam or limb the bow shoots perfect and straight just has 2 clicks when i draw i was hoping you could help me

  • i just got a new 2011 hoyt rampage xt"custom" it has the black riser and the black bone collector limbs, my local bow shop hooked me up because you cant even order the bows that way the normal bone collectors are camo riser with the black limbs

  • i cant wait for the 2011 rampage xt hoyt bow. i love you hoyt

  • Is it better than the Hoyt Matrix?

  • How much it cost?

  • i just got this the other day... i am impressed Get Serious...u know!!

  • i was thinking look at how the bows have changed and how fast they are now,340 fps,in 10 years i dont even wanna know how fast bows will be.

  • even though I got the 09 aplhamax 32 Hoyt bows are the best bows on the market and hope to get the new maxxis soon

  • i shoot a 08 marquis. it shoots as well as my friends dxt well exactly the same. but the guy at my local pro has hoyt bows and his bow is hoyt which is amazing it shoots flat pretty much at 50 yards no sound considering buying one

  • alphamax rules too . i will never buy another bow again

  • Man has been killing big game with a stick and sinew strings for thousands of years. All this speed and high dollar stuff is a crutch to real archery. Watch Fred Bear kill a Alaskan grizzly only yards away with a recurve bow and you will see what I mean.

  • @sgrif392 I can see where you're coming from honestly. My dad's traditional and hands me crap all the time. But, what you have to realize is that some people enjoy shooting one type of tackle to another and if that's what they enjoy so be it. I used to feel the same way about crossbows and compounds but...I'd rather focus on doing what I enjoy than telling other people that what they enjoy is rediculous. I respect your opinion though.

  • Get a dxt I shot the alphamax and maxxs 31 there really have a arrgresive pull behind them I shoot my dxt at 65lbs and feels lime it's on 50lbs I luv it I'd rather shoot comfort than speed or whatever.

  • well i went to South Africa and shot both bows the Maxxis and the Mathews Z7 i baught the Z7 i was pulling a 72 pounds and not even feeling that it was, felt more like a 60 pounds... and speaking of the speed well it was fast enough to pass through the wildebeest double lung shot my draw length is 28 " with the bow set @ 68 # the speed i got was 245 fps. i hope u all enjoy what u shoot no matter what it is or how fast it goes.

  • Was looking at the 2010 bows today. I went in wanting to buy the Matthews Z7, but after shooting the maxxis 31, I was much more impressed. Chronoed the 60-70 lb Z7 maxed at 70 pounds and the 50-60 maxxis maxed at 60 pounds, and the hoyt still shot 9 fps faster than the Z7, def am going with the hoyt now. The all black is sick btw.

  • @reidsimons Did you get your bow yet? Just purchased the Maxxis 31 two days ago. I was deciding between the Z7 also, like you said. No comparison. New Hoyt frickin rocks.

  • soon i'll be on my way to South Africa, i contacted a dealer there and they said they have it in stock, so i can't wait to buy it and shoot my first hunt with it soo guys wish me luck.

  • I love the maxxis, but i don't feel there is enough difference to switch from the alphamax.

  • it would be good to get if you dont yet have an alfamax but want a hoyt cuz their simmilar price

  • i shot this bow at a local bowshop, along with the reezen and alphamax. The Maxxis 31 is the best of the three by far! little to no vibration! even less than the mathews reezen!

  • cbell3111

how do u compare it to the mathews XLR8 or the reezen ?if u have tried them, i've always shot a mathews my current one is conquist 7 and i want to buy a new bow for hunting so what do u advise ?

  • i baught the new maxxis 2 weeks ago. befor that i was a mathews guy. i had the switchback xt and i loved it but it doesn't even come close to the maxxis. buy the hoyt!

  • the monster and reezen are both horrible in the hand as far as after shot vibration goes, not a big fan of either draw cycle either. ive got an alphamax and wont be getting a maxxis this year, i didnt feel much difference, might get the alphaburner though, smoothest shooting speed bow ive ever shot. if you wanna stay true to mathews, shoot the hyperlite

  • it blows the XLR8 and reezen away the ony recent mathews that can compete is the z7 but i would still take the hoyt everyday of the week

  • Just bought a 35 Maxxis yesterday.... Amazing!! I love my x-force, but thing is a completely different animal! Shoot it, you will be wishing for this thing for christmas!

  • I might get one of these. or maybe a Turbohawk, not sure yet.

  • dude, look at the actual specs, and turbo hawks are about eh same, just a little slower. but i have a superhawk and its amazing. already killed a buck with it this season. you cant go wrong with hoyt.

  • awesome bow, i'm jumpin from mathews to hoyt for 2010..............

  • great vid, its nice to see the new bow in a video so early after it came out.

  • Thanks for the update on the bow!!!
